I’m a local and I’ve frequented El Chapala for years. The staff know me by name and they feel like family. I highly recommend their margaritas. They make them strong, just FYI. I always get the steak fajitas and the fiancé gets alamabres. Delicious! Also, if you’re up for dessert, be sure to get the flan.
Visited with my wife on a Thursday. Arrived at 11am. The place was hopping. Food coming out of if the kitchen every few minutes. Sat down and the chips and salsa almost beat us to our table. I ordered the lunch Speedy Gonzalez with beef and the wife ordered the Taco Salad with chicken. Both were excellent. The enchilada sauce was so good that I asked for more. Everything was excellent. The service, friendliness food, everything. Highly recommend it.
I go here at least once a week. They are super fast, have amazing food with friendly servers. I LOVE their grilled steak tacos.
I was actually headed to a different restaurant when we drove by this place. There were a couple of Brevard police officers having dinner here so we knew this had to be a good place. We decided to swing in and check it out. The service was very proficient and our waiter was very attentive. I would give the food to four stars it was very good, but the top shelf margaritas with the fresh lime juice were five stars. They also have a Texas margarita that was very good also. If you try el Chapala, try the Chile Colorado and top shelf margarita made with Don Julio tequila.
The food was terrible and the service was horrendous. We had a party of four and they only prepared three of our four orders. Forget about getting a refill and getting your ticket! Wish I could leave zero stars!
I was in town with two buddies to do some mountain biking. We ended up eating dinner here three times. Food was excellent, service was great and fast, the prices were very reasonable, and it seemed like the staff knew most of the customers. It appears that most of the locals already know about this place, but if you're from out of town, I highly recommend it.
Great service and people are always friendly, food is always hot and comes out fast and clean area to eat in.
El Chapala has their stuff together. When you go to this business hungry you will leave Completely satisfied. With many options that are quite honestly all tasty, you will be hard pressed to find something you don't like.
