Limited brunch menu. No seating inside and limited seating outside under the awning (it was raining when we got there). Coffee was good though and the it was calm and relaxing. The outdoor flowers and decorations was beautiful. Just an ordinary small cafe in the garden.
Shocking enough the cafe was not serving the options from menu at 1pm! We were hungry but there was only the option of soup and hardly any veg choice.
Disappointing. Kids came back home hungry
We were so looking forward to a nice meal.
A beautiful little cafe located next to the walled garden and a perfect place for breakfast or brunch on a nice summer day. The photographs I have posted may only partially do justice to this place but it will also give you a fair bit if understaning of surrounding. The breakfast is very reasonable and the brunch too. Had a jacket potato with chicken coronation and loved it. This place is also dog friendly. Service was quick. Cafe overall is very clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend it!
Beautiful location and therefore worth a visit but don’t expect much from the coffee.
This cafe has been such a nice place to grab a coffee and have a breakfast roll on sunny days. Although the menu is limited, the cakes look wonderful.
The gardens are well kept with a nice atmosphere to sit and chat with friends ????
Lovely place to visit if you enjoy walled gardens. Superb display of flowers plus lovely tea room. Suitable for all ages and accessible.
We visted today and have been a few times before this and the only thing that spoils it for me is the woman in charge who I find very unfriendly. However, I still find ourselves going back as the gardens are lovely and today we had a really nice cake. Would make it so much nicer if the owner was more of a people person as it would create a better atmosphere and a nicer experiance.
The place is lovely and the staff are excellent, polite, helpful and smiley! We arrived at exactly 3pm and they could have said "Sorry we're closing" but they chose to serve us, despite us having varying specific requests! I forgot to get their names to give them a mention. The little seating area, is an added bonus and the floral displays are beautiful, they really enhance the place. Would go back in a heartbeat!
