I was not going to leave a review, however, the more I think about it the more frustrated I get. I came in yesterday for a blowout. I received exactly that, they did a great job straightening my hair, I have no complaints with that. However, during the service she asked if I wanted a trim and I said yes, later I decided to get layers in the back. I regret my request. I asked for her to leave the length and she asked how many layers, I could not really articulate what I wanted so I told her to use her best judgment. She started with confidence and then she started to make mistakes, I am not an expert but she was cutting past her guide lines and left one side uneven. They started to talk amongst themselves and that confirmed it. She asked if I wanted curls, I guess to hide the mistake but I didn't want that, so I wanted to see the layers. It was botched, hair grows back, but I would have appreciated if she acknowledged the mistake and corrected it. I paid with a tip because it was hot and my hair was straight. The lady that took my payed relayed the tip given and left me at the counter. I was not thanked for my patronage which also left me frustrated after my experience. I will now have to get hair cut even. Bottomed line, stick with just a trim.
I came in at 11:30 am to get a blowout and trim. 30 mins into me waiting more people came in after me to get blowouts as well. The owner knew a lady and she did not have an appointment she came in after me and she took her before me. That was very unprofessional and rude. I will not be coming back here again.

This USE til be my favorite salon for blowouts until today ! I called December 21st to confirm that it was ok that I come today (Christmas Eve) to get a blowout for me and my daughter at 2. I was told by a lady that it was fine they close at 5pm. I get there and the man upfront was rude. Told me they closed now, I must of called a different salon, they not taking anybody else. I get it's Christmas Eve but maybe you should of had all that figured out when I did call. I won't be coming back!
By the way I found someone who accepted my business and is really sweet!
I love the way my hair feel and look. They are so friendly and fast. The prices are affordable and well worth it. They can be busy on the weekends and you’ll have to wait. I like coming during the week if I can, they get me in and out very quickly. They love healthy hair and will sell products right there to help you achieve your hair goals.
Today I got my first blow out!!!! My stylist was Iveliss...she was so AWESOME!!! I have seen some really good blow outs, some so/so blow outs, and heard stories about blow outs...which had me a bit nervous about the experience and not sure what to expect. I have been natural for over 2 years and always wanted to try a blow out on my hair. I research online and read over reviews and this salon has the best reviews, now I know why. I will be back and a regular at this spot! I normally don't write reviews, but I read them when I am trying to make a decision on spending my money with a business. I feel it would only be fair if I share my pleasant experience to assist someone in making a decision. I am a pleased client :) plus I have gotten several compliments since leaving the salon. My hair has never looked this good...it looks better than when I use to get perms....It's so silky, bouncy, and looks very healthy.
Only con was parking....I had to park in an adjacent parking lot....but that was no big deal, I would do it again if I had too!
I'm from NY so I'm kind of picky when it comes to salons out here. Dominican Evolution Hair Salon is the best I've came across in Greensboro in the last 6yrs. Marilyn takes care of my daughter's hair, my niece hair, my cousin hair, & my hair as well which she always does a wonderful job. We're all natural & the wash n blows last for a long time. We Love the service at this salon and I recommend this salon to all my friends.
FYI THEY DO NOT PUT CHEMICALS IN YOUR HAIR UNLESS YOU ASK THEM TOO!! MY HAIR IS NATURAL AND WHEN I FEEL LIKE DOING A TWIST OUT OR A WASH N GO MY CURL PATTERN COMES RIGHT BACK!!
I went to the salon for the first time. I was very pleased with the service and wait time. I had a wash, deep condition and blow out with Lilly. My hair is naturally curly and I received so many compliments that people thought I had a relaxer. I will be returning!!!
