I went into Diamond Nails to get a new set of acrylic nails. The technician recommended that I get a fill. I agreed to that and had a color picked out, which the nail technician then recommended I change. Once the technician applied the acrylic, I saw a few areas that looked as if they needed to be corrected to be more neat. I asked him if he was sure that the acrylic was okay in those areas and he said "yes, it will be okay once it is painted". The nail tech applied two coats of gel polish to my nails and the clear top coat. I then began to assess the nails on my left hand while the right set of nails were drying and told the nail technician that I could still see the uncolored nail peaking through the polish in some areas and that on most fingers, the polish did not extend to the corner of my nails, leaving the acrylic exposed. He grabbed my hand and looked at my nails and said that they looked fine. I told him that I was unhappy with the quality of my nails and that I also noticed that he had cut me with the equipment and I was bleeding. I told him that I would still pay for the service I received, but just wanted my nails to be corrected. He told me that he had done all that he could do for me and that I could talk to his manager. He said I owed him $33 and his manager was across the room. I went to the front counter to pay and asked him if I could speak to his manager. The manager came over and I told her that I was unhappy with the quality of my nails; that I liked the color, but did not feel that they were done neatly. I showed her my nails and the area where I was cut. She looked and said that my nails were pretty. I showed her where I could still see the nail peaking through the polish and on the sides of my nails. She attempted to put oil on one of my nails and the area where I was cut. I told her that I could still see my nail peaking through and that I felt they needed to be repainted. The manager told me that my nails were okay and that I owed them $23 dollars. As I got my payment out, I asked the manager if she was going to do anything to resolve the issue. She grabbed my money, gave me change, told me to have a nice day, and walked away.
I left Diamond Nails feeling completely disrespected, mistreated, and minor though the injury may be; harmed. I would not recommend receiving their services.
Great job. Sometimes a lil wait but they are great
Such a shame. Dip shouldn’t peel/chip this quickly. 1 week and this is how one hand looks. I’ve tried to come here so many times to receive good service but it’s never good. The time management is terrible. Expect to be here for over 3 hours for pedicure/manicure.
I got acrylic nails and can say that I am very happy with the results. The people are lovely and I'm always pleased with how my nails turn out. ☺
The man that owns it or at least I think he’s the owner. The first time I went on there they and him were very nice, he did my nails and I ask him when I come in for a refill would he do them and he said yes
I e been there 3 times and I’m. Very satisfied with the salon. I didn’t like the one young girl does your n.ails she is on the phone all the time.
So I have Togo for a refill monday or Tuesday, I let you know what happens
Ive been to several places since moving over here in Illinois and there about the best
Really a nice place to go. Very clean and the people there are so nice always accommodate. The price is mid for nails ect. Make some Christmas colors come alive.
Will not be coming back lol they get enough customers they don’t need me.
Made an appointment for a fill in he said $30 over the phone. I did lose about 5 nails & told him that over the phone. he popped the rest off and told me I’ll have to pay for a full set.
They’re about 1/2 inch long and he tried to charge me $75 + polish .
I told him okay no polish just nail he said $38 …..so $37 for polish ?? He filed one of my nails too skinny & I wanted coffin shape. I told him & thought he would fix it he said “okay you’re done, go wash.”
Of course I paid but they won’t get anymore from me.
Definitely would not go back here again. I used tbis place twice and had the same experience both times. They have poor customer service. The lady that did my nails was on Facetime with someone and kept stopping and laughing as she was trying to work on my nails. Obviously, the phone call was more important. Second time, the lady cut my toes several times and kept holding my foot to stop the bleeding. I also noticed that their tools they used are not properly santized, as they are pulled from their drawer. They looked dirty and used. Definitely not going again. Service is not worth it, along with possibly catching an infection.
Quick Facts About Diamond Nails
Diamond Nails has a number of strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
One strength mentioned is that they have a nice atmosphere and the people are generally friendly. Customers appreciate the cleanliness of the salon and the accommodating nature of the staff. Additionally, some customers are pleased with the results of their acrylic nails and are happy with the colors and overall appearance.
However, there are several weaknesses that stand out. One common complaint is the lack of quality and attention to detail in the service provided. Multiple customers mention issues with the application of acrylic nails, including uneven application and acrylic not extending to the corners of the nails, leaving the acrylic exposed. Some customers also experienced cuts and bleeding during the service, which is a major cause for concern.
Another major weakness is the poor customer service experienced by many customers. There are instances of technicians being on their phones during services, not giving proper attention to the customer. Some customers feel that their concerns are dismissed and not addressed by the nail technicians or the manager. This lack of resolution and dismissive attitude adds to the overall dissatisfaction with the salon.
Another weakness mentioned is the time management of the salon. Many customers complain about long wait times, with some stating that they had to spend over three hours for a pedicure or manicure. This indicates a lack of efficiency in managing appointments and providing timely service.
Furthermore, there are concerns about sanitation and hygiene practices at Diamond Nails. Some customers noticed that tools used on them appeared dirty and not properly sanitized. This is a major red flag as it poses a risk of infection and the spread of diseases to customers.
In summary, while Diamond Nails has some positive aspects such as a nice atmosphere and friendly staff, the negative feedback regarding the poor quality of services, lack of attention to detail, dismissive customer service, long wait times, and concerns about sanitation and hygiene practices are significant weaknesses. These weaknesses greatly impact the overall customer experience and satisfaction, and as a result, many customers do not recommend receiving services from Diamond Nails.
