Best PlaceJuice Reviews

One of our favourite places for lunch but today took 3 reminders to get our tea and waited 25 minutes for our food. It was moderately busy so no real excuse. We actually believe that he totally forgot the order. Also the standards of cleanliness have dropped dramatically, such a shame. Every sauce bottle was the same, plus table grubby.
Decided to treat myself to a bacon, egg and mushroom baguette for breakfast today along with a cappuccino from New Devonport Diner. It was absolutely delicious. The baguette was melt in the mouth with perfectly cooked egg and mushrooms, and a proper rasher of perfectly cooked bacon all washed down with a flavoursome cappuccino. I will certainly be recommending the diner to my friends. 5* service with friendly staff in a bright clean environment.
Popped in for breakfast before 'The Men's Dayout' a few weeks back.
Great breakfast, amazing value for money and friendly service.
This place deserves to do really well. A mug of coffee to drink in is £1.50, take away medium pasty which is actually more like large, is £3. Nice fiendly people, good service and clean premises
Devonport diner is a very friendly environment the staff are welcoming and the choice of food is brilliant and very affordable and also they always have different ideas for new food items and their bubble waffles and new cake pots are yummy and so affordable. So I would recommend everyone to go in and try there food and desserts ???? as you won't be disappointed.
Great food and great staff
Enjoyable breakfast, generous sized plates and tastes great! Able to order in advance so food is ready only downside is, it’s cash only.
Food always cooked well, and generous portions for your money.
Friendly staff.
The only thing wrong is they only except cash...not handy when the cashpoint is out of order.

Quick Facts About Devonport Diner

The Devonport Diner seems to have a mix of positive and negative comments, which are important to consider when evaluating its strengths and weaknesses. It is evident that there are both strengths and weaknesses present in the establishment.
Starting with strengths, it is clear that the food at the diner is highly rated by some customers. The bacon, egg, and mushroom baguette for breakfast is described as "absolutely delicious" with perfectly cooked ingredients and a flavorsome cappuccino. This positive review suggests that the food quality and taste are major strengths of the diner.
Additionally, the generous portion sizes of the meals are appreciated by some patrons. The breakfast plates are described as "generously sized." This suggests that customers receive good value for their money and leaves them satisfied.
Another strength that is repeatedly mentioned is the friendliness of the staff. Many customers mention the "friendly service" and "nice friendly people." Friendly staff can significantly enhance the dining experience and leave a positive impression on customers. This is important for building a loyal customer base.
Affordability is another strength of the Devonport Diner. Multiple customers mention that the prices are reasonable and the food is good value for money. This is particularly highlighted in the comments about the coffee and pasty being priced at £1.50 and £3 respectively. Offering affordable options can attract a wider range of customers and promote repeat visits.
However, there are some weaknesses that should also be considered. One recurring complaint is the slow service. There are mentions of having to wait for a long time to receive tea and food, with one commenter even suggesting that the staff may have forgotten the order. This can lead to frustration and a negative dining experience for customers.
Furthermore, the standards of cleanliness have been criticized. Numerous comments mention that the cleanliness of the tables and sauce bottles is not up to par. Poor cleanliness can create a negative impression and turn potential customers away.
Another weakness that is mentioned is the diner's policy of only accepting cash. While some customers may not mind, others find it inconvenient, particularly when the nearby cashpoint is out of order. Limiting payment options can be a drawback for customers who prefer using cards or mobile payments.
In conclusion, the Devonport Diner has its strengths and weaknesses. The food quality and taste, generous portion sizes, friendly staff, and affordability are all strengths that have been highlighted by customers. On the other hand, slow service, low cleanliness standards, and the cash-only policy are weaknesses that can negatively impact the dining experience. By addressing the weaknesses and focusing on their strengths, the Devonport Diner has the potential to enhance the overall customer experience and improve its reputation.
