I'm happy to give 5 stars, always get a good cut, never have a long wait and no appointments needed in the busy season, just walk in. The conversations with the Barbers never feel forced, so you can chat or relax and get your cut.

Reasonably priced, very good service, took 10 years off me. Will be back

2 lady barbers standing talking to each other and another behind the till area, no customers at all, they told me they are closed and just continued talking.

It doesn’t take that long to do a basic haircut. Didn’t bother arguing, just left disappointed.

My brother has been growing his hair for a long time he had asked the lady to trim the sides and only a tiny bit of the top and she absolutely ruined his hair could have done a better job my self, poor guy doesnt want to leave the house untill it grows back. Safe to say he will not be going back there again.

I know what you are thinking a barber is a barber mens and boys hair cuts are nothing special well it would seem so until you get a bad hair cut. I've had a few bad hair cuts as my old barber ceased trading thanks to covid so my quest to find a go to barber began in earnestness. It was like an epic movie like Lord of the Rings except all I found were Gollums who thought they could cut hair. It got to a stage wearing a baseball cap to hide my shame was beginning to be a norm. No I'm not vain but my head cannot carry a tight hair cut as my head is bullet in shape at best a conehead and a lookalike for Dan Akroyd in the Conehead movie and God knows I need all the help I can get. So at my wife's suggestion I headed off to Dawsons Barbers in Blanchardstown SC. Not expecting much and a short wait later I found myself in a chair with a Barbers apron around my neck that made me look strange and odd and robbed me of my dignity much like a hospital gown without the breeze shooting up my Derry air. I was asked really nicely by the barber and forgive me I forgot his name what I wanted. I said to myself here we go again. I knew I wanted a number 3 on the sides and a trim on top you know the college look whatever that means. I waited with baited breath not wanting to engage in conversation for fear of getting a trim on the side and a number 3 on top as has happened before. To my immense joy my request was being met and as I relaxed I talked about football in my very very limited capacity the guy cutting my hair was or is a Liverpool fan so football had to be on the agenda. I exhausted my knowledge pretty quickly and then politics came up which I can certainly hold my own. It seemed like only minutes and my hair was cut to a standard I had not experienced in a long time. When my wife met me she was thrilled that I finally did not look like an extra on Love Hate I was more a Hugh Grant well in hair only and from a very long distance away. God love her I'm boxing well above my weight and she wears the biggest pair of rose tinted glasses. The up shot is these guys know their business and their customers know it too. I'll be going back as my quest is finally over I found my Holy Grail of Barbers. I just realised I've referenced movies and TV shows through all this review now that's my real interest nit football. Look up shot is amazing value for a professional hair cut 20euro is real good value and room for a tip too. Good service deserves a tip it shows you value their skills after all apprentky he made me look like Hugh Grant from a very long distance away and if you squint your eyes.

Took my girlfriend to get her skin fade done here and we were not impressed not worth the money at all, firstly the manor from the lady wasn’t pleasing and didn’t do what we asked for, we asked for a low skin fade and a trim off the top, we ended up with a half finished haircut sides not finished and butchered the fringe, we had an event on today and had to go elsewhere to get it fixed and be late for an important day, not impressed at all, shocking

First time getting a haircut here as I was in the center doing some shopping. To be fair I got a good haircut in record time. The barber had me chopped, trimmed, and gelled within 10 mins! A little pricey, but overall I’m happy with my visit here today.

Been going to Dawson's every 3 or 4 weeks for the past few years and would highly recommend them.. I always go to Irina and she does a great job. The Staff are always friendly. I've read some of the reviews here and in my opinion they're quite unfair, let's be honest arriving for a haircut 30mins before a shop closes is really giving anyone a chance.. IMO
