Wir hatten ein tolles Mittagsessen. Danach wollten wir etwas Süßes essen. Der Kuchen sah im Schaufenster gut aus. Als wir in das Lokal gingen haben wir gemerkt, dass es sehr schmutzig ist... Die Tischdecken waren auch zerrissen…

Dennoch bestellten wir 2 Kuchen und 2 Kaffee's. Wir bekamen anstatt den Kaffee's einen Latte Macchiato und einen Cappuccino. Die Kuchen waren ungenießbar.

Die Toiletten ähnelten einem Bahnhofsklo.

Dieses Lokal ist eine Schande für diesen schönen Ort. Eine Touristenfalle…

I really wish I checked the reviews here before I bought stuff. It was packed with people and queues of people getting their lunch to take away so I thought it would be good ????

Everything looks delicious in the window but don't be fooled, the cake is dry, the pastries are under baked (see pic where you can see raw pastry...) and the paninis are soggy and tasteless. The cake filling was alright but the cake itself was pretty dry and boring.

There's also no labels on anything apart from sandwiches and no prices so that's always a nice surprise when you go to pay for a panini, 2 cakes and a pastry and it's nearly £20! I know it's Windsor and it's a tourist trap but really...don't waste your money here, go to one of the many other fantastic independently owned cafes and tea houses in the area.

All the cakes are the defrosted sort that you order in bulk online.

Paninis are bland and stale.

The staff seem like they REALLY don't want to be here and are cold and rude.

Also extortionate for what you are getting. Avoid at all costs

Very disappointing experience. Cakes were too sweet and loaded with artificial colorings. Croissants were not freshly made. Coffee was bland. Best to avoid if you can.

AVOID (zero stars) - ordered a peri peri chicken sandwich, and I had to return as the meat was rancid (smelt like gangrene) - staff agreed it was off. Also got a lemon tart, which was covered with mold on the inside (see picture). Got a full refund (after some debate), and will be reporting this place to the appropriate authorities, as this is potentially dangerous practice.

Very nice cafe, popped in for quick sandwich and doughnut, everything was very delicious.

Nice staff.

And quick service.

Considering very good prices.

Worst café ever. Dirty room, disgusting toilet and the cake is not worth one single penny.

I expected so much from this place, Crown Cafe,...

Place is rubbish! Cappuccino is not properly made, no taste of coffee whatsoever plus way too hot. Apparently the coffee mashine has a wrong settings.

The apple strudel was at least 3 days old and possibly undercooked. Terrible.

The girls who work there either not interested in what they do or just not proper for that job. They are polite of course but so very little of professionalism has been shown.

Instead of pleasant music they play very loud radio.

This place is pure disappointment to my regret.

Never will be back, waste money
