Just had lunch, and it was not what I had in mind. From the start, the server assumes that We know what the items bring when the only menu given is a paper printout with no description of the items. We requested a burger with mayo and no onions or pickles. The server said that it did not bring any of that. When it came out, it had onions and pickles and no mayo. I also ordered a margarita flat bread, and when it came out, it looked like a plain flatbread pizza out of a box. The cups on the table stll had lip marks from last used. It's such a beautiful hotel to have this kind of restaurant inside.
This restaurant is located in Marriott Hotel in Long Island. I like the table and chair. It looks simple but comfortable. Our seat can see the reception desk , the elegant fragrance can be smell all the time.
It's quite disappointed when we looked at the menu. We visited there because of the yelp review. We were told the menu we saw is no longer served. Anyway, it's late, let's eat something. We ordered the Crop&Kettle Burger and the Pasta. To be honest, the burger is just ok, not too oily, but not so impressed for $20. We like the pasta. It tasted favorable. French fries is crispy. We didn't try the desert, just 3 options, cheesecake, chocolate cake and I forgot the last one.
My daughter likes there, maybe we would go back to try other dishes.
Super friendly bartenders and the rib-eye for $39 was a steal! Great steak, was not expecting it to be that good.
The bar selection here is great too from Clase Azul to Blantons.
Simple and satisfying American food restaurant on the ground floor of Marriott hotel right next to the Nassau Coliseum is a great place to have a meal before or after attending an event at the Coliseum. Interiors feature wonderful large scale patriotic prints and amazing mosaic wall made of live green plants. Large portion of creamy Long Island clam chowder would be enough for a lunch all by itself. Spicy buffalo wings had to be boxed to take home but were thoroughly enjoyed as a separate meal.
Great place to eat! Breakfast is phenomenal and the dinner options are top notch. The bar certainly know how to make the perfect drink to go along with the meal. Highly recommend!
My daughter and I came into the hotel to grab a bite to eat. We came to the Nassau Coliseum for the Blood Manor show and were famished. We entered Cook and Kettle and the host Neil and the waitress Tia. We were treated royally.
The White Chedder burger & the Chef Sandwich. The food was delicious. We both had the Tito Mule drink, EXCELLENT!
We came back after the event to enjoy dessert (it was my daughter's birthday) and Tia and Neil went the extra mile and brought her a chocolate cake with a candle and ice cream (on top of the order!) and sang Happy Birthday! They made her birthday.
This restaurant is 5 stars for the food and the SERVICE!
Thank you Neil & Tia for taking the time and having such kindness, its rarely seen these days.
Please come and have a great time. My daughter and I have decided to make coming here a tradition!
Excellent food and service at this high end quality restaurant in the LI Marriott Hotel. Would go again. Delicious!
Food was decent. Service was very good. Wait was too long to get a drink from the bar sadly.
