Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Besser vorbestellen.
First time in Confucius and we will definitely return.
The food was quite decent, considering that we went for the buffet option. Everything was freshly cooked with the satay skewers being the highlight and fried squid and prawns the only dishes that we will avoid next time.
Excellent service, friendly and welcoming staff, who made last minute arrangements in order to accommodate us and this was very much appreciated.
Thank you!
Visited with family on Sunday, the restaurant itself needs some updating... if you were walking past you wouldn't decide to go in and eat however we saw the great reviews online and decided to give it a try.
Food was nice, although few items came deep fried or in batter which was not stated on the menu. It is all you can eat however they like you to order all of the starters and second course at once and then all mains at once, which means you can't try some things and order more if you enjoy it...
The manager is quite rude, her tone is sharp and aggressive and made you feel awkward to ask anything I.e. for more napkins. If it wasn't for such a rude manager (we are assuming she was the manager, she took the orders) then I would have given a review of 4 stars.
We tried Sunday all-you-can-eat lunch. It’s better to book in advance to avoid disappointing. Reasonable price, tasty food. Great location. City council car park is near by.
Food is unreal. Great service. Very friendly. Nothing is too much. Just don't over order. You will not eat it all!!
Visit this restaurant at least once a year. The staff are so friendly and the food is amazing. Make sure you book well in advance for the weekends as they can become fully booked very quickly. For the best experience, I recommend booking as a larger group. Fantastic for special occasions.
Food is good, however, I think service has changed slightly negatively recently. I don't like the aspect (not just Confucious) that in Asian cuisine you have to be out by a certain time (roughly 1.5 hrs) having a big host of people spending upwards of £250 in one sitting. I don't like the aspect that you will be refused to re-order close to your proposed leaving time when your are the paying customers for an All-you-can-eat.

Quick Facts About Confucious

Confucius is a restaurant with both strengths and weaknesses, as indicated by the comments provided. One of its strengths is the quality of its food. Commenters mentioned that the meat was tender and the vegetables were crisp, indicating that the kitchen puts effort into ensuring that the dishes are cooked well. The satay skewers were highlighted as the standout item, indicating that there are some standout dishes on the menu.
Another strength of Confucius is its friendly and welcoming service. Multiple commenters mentioned that the staff were friendly and accommodating, even making last-minute arrangements to accommodate their needs. This is indicative of good customer service and an overall positive dining experience.
The restaurant's affordable prices and all-you-can-eat option were seen as positives by commenters. Many mentioned that the food was reasonably priced, considering the quality. The all-you-can-eat option also received positive comments, with commenters appreciating the opportunity to try a variety of dishes.
The location of Confucius was also seen as a strength. One commenter mentioned that it was conveniently located near a city council car park, making it easily accessible for customers.
However, there are also some weaknesses that were mentioned in the comments. One weakness is the initial impression of the restaurant. Commenters remarked that the exterior of the restaurant did not appear inviting, and some mentioned that they almost didn't enter because of it. This suggests that the restaurant may benefit from improving its exterior to attract more customers.
Another weakness mentioned in the comments is the outdated interior of the restaurant. One commenter mentioned that the restaurant is in need of updating. While this may not directly impact the quality of the food or service, it can affect the overall dining experience and perception of the restaurant.
Some commenters also mentioned issues with the service at Confucius. One mentioned that the service was initially "rude" and "aggressive," particularly from the person assuming to be the manager. This negative experience with a staff member can significantly impact the overall impression of the restaurant and may lead to customers not wanting to return.
There were also comments about the dining experience, particularly regarding the ordering process. Some commenters mentioned that they were not informed about certain dishes being deep-fried or in batter, which could be seen as a lack of transparency. Additionally, some mentioned that they were not able to order certain dishes later if they wanted to try more of a particular item. This inflexibility in the ordering process may limit the overall dining experience for some customers.
In conclusion, Confucius has strengths in terms of the quality of its food, friendly service, affordable prices, and convenient location. However, there are weaknesses in terms of the initial impression of the restaurant, outdated interior, and negative experiences with certain staff members. Additionally, some commenters mentioned issues with the ordering process. Overall, while Confucius has positive aspects, there are areas that could be improved to enhance the overall dining experience.
