**Update from 1* to 5*- New owner is wonderful. Saw my review and invited me in for a free tan and gave me free eyewear and tanning cream. She was wonderful to all her customers. I'll definitely be back.
My family and I moved to Inverness back in mid-March. I was happy to know there was a tanning salon near by but with Covid everything was shut down, so I had no choice but to wait. I had reached out to GTG via messenger and they were quick to respond and I was looking forward to going to their salon.
I am one that enjoys leaving positive reviews but this was not a good experience. I called the Salon yesterday 10.1.2020 and Olivia answered. She was very friendly and took me in within 20 minutes. Upon arriving, Olivia was getting all my info. I requested one of the higher packages and proceeded to take my tanning lotion from my purse out when Olivia mentioned that she needed to call her manager. I asked her why she had to call her manager and she stated that I could not use my own lotion (even though it is the SAME LOTION that is sold in this salon). Let me tell you these lotions are NOT cheap. In fact, I paid $114 for my bottle but this salon expects you to purchase them there or else you cannot use their beds because it will damage them? You mean it will mess up the glass?? The same lotion I had was the same lotion you were selling but GREED is something else. My first visit and you expect me to purchase a lotion over $100? Are you kidding me? Absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE BUT GREED. I have worked in customer service for over 25 years. This should have been handled differently by allowing me to use my lotion and once it finished, I would have gladly purchase another. I told Olivia how I felt and told her to change my package to a single visit. I purchase a little tanning packet, got my tan and left. So, this salon lost my business and my 5 family members who all tan monthly (Gold package $55 per month x 6= $330). I left INCREDIBLY disappointed. Since I still commute for work to Orlando, I will continue to go to my old tanning salon and finish the rest of my package until I find another salon.
So disappointed :(
P.S. I have included a pic of my lotion on the counter and their lotion on their shelf. SAME LOTION. Unbelievable.
It’s a very Clean salon, well maintained and the beds are amazing. The owners are hands on, genuine and I always feel welcomed. I’ve never had a bad experience coming here since I’ve started tanning. Best salon in the Citrus area!☀️
I love there beds specially the platinum package beds and they are very well cleaned . The pretty ladies that work there are very friendly! They have also been well trained and educated ! 8 recommend this place and gave it 5 stars! Thank you coastal tanning for nice new look !

Super clean, friendly staff, great deals look forward to going. My new favorite local tanning salon. Great owners from Alaska. I have a tanning bed but Prefer their superior Beds and they also have a red light bed that is so helpful for many skin issues.
First time visiting Salon. VERY clean. Decorated so nicely!! Very nice beds…..staff very nice/kind and explained packages, products and even showed me how to operate their beds…. Thank you for great service!!
Love this place! I love the red light therapy bed & their tanning beds are amazing. Great prices & they have great deals on packages & products. The owners are so friendly & are very knowledgeable about the services and products they offer. All of the other staff I’ve met have been very sweet, too. Definitely recommend Coastal Tanning!
Where do I begin ???? I absolutely love this place! From the amazing top quality tanning beds, spray tan machine, the red light therapy bed, the products, the deals, the STAFF, the cleanliness and I could just go on and on and on! If you haven't visited this business you are definitely missing out! Check it out, you won't regret it! ????
Went here yesterday for a spray tan for my wedding. The woman at front counter was awesome she was very educated on the services at the salon and She assured me the spray tan would come out even and gold . I woke up this morning with blotches and honestly barely tan . I purchased the level 3 bronze, I ended up scrubbing my skin and I’m going to get a actual spray tan! Definitely a waste of money, needless to say I’m stressed out now before my wedding and I would not recommend a spray tan from here.
