I was just at this barbershop and I got a haircut and it was by Ashley. I woul not recommend booking with her. She butchered my hair, cut most of it off when I asked for a light trim. Before the cut, she asked me what a trim was and i didnt realize i needed to tell her, so I let her know I just wanted the hair trimmed and out of my eyes. I was extremely disappointed and mad my hair was messed up beyond repair. I had planned to dye my hair but now that is not going to happen because of what Ashley did. I would recommend booking with Christina and Kayla. They are amazing and they did my brother's hair extremely well and did what they could to fix mine. I am content with my hair and happy with what the other two workers did. Once again Ashley was rude and so spiteful to the point where she absolutely ruined my hair and my plans for my hair.

Took my kids to chyle’s to get their hair cut in honesdale and probably will never come back again. I’ve been taking my 4 year old there for a while now and I’m ALWAYS 20+ minutes early because I KNOW their time is short and valuable. I understand they have a “tight” schedule and book every 15 minutes but I didn’t deserve to be disrespectfully crucified by Ashley Chyle for being 5 minutes late and then when I said I was sorry and would reschedule I was told I would be put down as a no show with eyes rolling and major attitude.

AND THEN Ashley butchered my 15 year olds hair… butchered is an understatement. I would hope she didn’t do it out of spite because I was 5 minutes late, but I’m honestly not sure..

I’m thankful for Kayla who did a wonderful job on Logan’s hair and I’m very VERY thankful for Christina Olsommer who did her best to fix my Jacob’s hair.

According to the internet, Ashley is the owner but when my husband asked for her name she refused to give it to us and made no attempt to let us know she was the owner or try to help resolve the issue. Christina spoke up and asked for me to bring him back inside and she would do her best to fix it. And she did. Much better than it was but it’s still sad to see all his hair gone…

I did not give a 1 star because of Kayla and Christina. Thank you Ladies for being phenomenal!! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Great place to get a cut, easy scheduling great at their craft..

Went here for my first time three weeks ago right after I got the haircut had to go to another barber to get it fixed and I had already scheduled an appointment to return then they called me three weeks later asking if I was coming back and I postponed it for another week ended up getting Covid couldn’t show up so then they told me if I wanted to ever come back to get a haircut they would have to charge me for the appointments I missed. I would not recommend this place to anyone

Excellent customer service, amazing prices, great haircuts. I grew up in Honesdale but moved away. The town has grown immensely but this still has that old barbershop feel with a modern twist. Take the time to stop in, even for a trim. You won't be disappointed.

My 3 year old threw a tantrum while getting his haircut. They handled it like professionals and the haircut came out great! I was impressed to say the least. Would definitely recommend.
