I was recommended this place from someone I met who used to live locally but left a few years ago. Well, the place isn't good!
Let me just pre-face this by stating I am an optimistic person. The shop itself looked dated in a bad way and the photoshopped food images looked equally terrible - but I still spent £20+ to try it with my partner. #That'sOptimismFolks.
Let's just be frank here: the fries were incredibly bland. They just weren't right, it was like they were made yesterday and reheated. When I looked in the packet they were held in, there was a lot of grease inside to the extent that it was soaking into the overall outer bag. They were very squashed down (why?) which didn't help. Even ketchup couldn't save these, and - not even joking - I shared with my dog who ate some but literally left some in the bowl and walked away. 1/10. Not even dog food.
Next is the burger. Somewhat redeeming - it actually wasn't bad. Not saying it was good, either, but it wasn't terrible. It was "okay". My only concern is the sauce seemed to have been taken from under the cashier tills (??). So sanitation concerns exist, but the taste itself wasn't bad. If you buy anything from here, the burger might be it. 4/10.
Finally, the chicken. My mistake was buying 10 wings and 2 pieces of chicken. Anemic, greasy chicken that looks like the kind of chicken you might find on the floor at the back of a city bus at the end of the night. Except, this was on my plate. Honestly, I had reservations about even biting into it. I did, and it was about as bad as I expected. Tasteless, greasy, and just wrong. -1 / 10. Never given a minus score before. Wow.
Had no main digestive problems which was a plus, but come the night, I had atrocious gas. Sorry folks. And sorry to my partner - we've been together for 5 years now and never, ever has she made me sleep in another room before. If I could have angled my posterior outside a window as I slept, I too might have been able to sleep that night. But alas, I could not escape it. Holy hell.
Worst food ever in Slough. The burgers fillets were mediocre, the chips were dry like cardboard and the chicken wings were tasteless, squidgy and somewhat undercooked. All food was greasy and of poor quality.
Avoid this place unless you want to spend the rest of the day in the bathroom.
I used to eat from here alot when i moved to slough for a short while. I am so glad that the spicy chicken fillet burger is exactly as it was 5 years ago. i was worried they might have changed the taste or such. Im a burger lover and this burger is my number 1 favourite. soft tender chicken and their sauce just wow. no exaggeration. I wish you had branches near birmingham.
Don't ever order of just eat iv order twice and not come both times first time I had to go there and order it again second time had to get Intouch with just eat also don't see the point of having a phone number to ring for chicken delite if they don't answer

And the fillet was pink and dry my son was crying and wanted to go home because of how bad it smelt,Also the staff were Absolutely rude and started Swearing in urduuu I was absolutely devastated as I didn’t get my money back!
