Popular place. A lot of customers are visibly coming and going enjoying their food and the ambience, proving it's popularity. Unfortunately, a few
move on due to being unable to get a table. It lives up to its good reputation. Good food, friendly service, and reasonable prices, which leads to happy customers returning for more.
Decent size a cafe with horrible illumination that makes it look kind of creepy. Good sausage and egg, but I asked for a children's cheese on toast and they brought an adult one.
Ordered the big breakfast plus hash browns, a bacon and egg sandwich which I asked for the egg to be scrambled so was a side of scrambled eggs, apple juice and a decaf tea. I sat back down and it wasn't long until our drinks came and then wasn't much longer until our food came. We were amazed at the quick service and great food! Will definitely be visiting again!
Breakfast with the lovely thick bread was spot on !
Second time I went i had cheese bacon mushroom on toast.

Used to go to Charlie's often. I knew the owners and always alway excellent service and food quality. Visited again after living in Scotland for 14 years. Met an old friend. Looked forward to visiting Charlie's again. Sadly the staff taking my order didn't look too happy, no smiles or welcome. The waitress looked very busy and overall, it wasn't as I remembered. This was a quiet time so not to busy. But I guess it is the way of things. The food was good. And I will enjoy visiting again.
My new favourite cafe, food is beautiful and the staff are really friendly. Amazing gluten free options which is lacking every where else. Will be back again and again.
Food was great and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The interior was very cozy and stylish. Would definitely recommend and will be returning myself!
