Great cocktails, so decided to try the menu. The starters were great no complaints but when you bring out a steak which looks like it was plated by a 9 year old with a catapult then it all goes downhill. Cheap peas, slimey sliced mushrooms and the worst frozen cheap chips ever. This was all served on a side plate. Mentioned to staff. 10 out of ten for service, shame about the food. On the plus side they offer defence discount.

Had a Turkey dinner on Sunday, and in all honesty, one of the best roast dinners I have had apart from home. Everything was well cooked, and the gravy ( which so often lets the meal down) was perfect. Service to was first class. Will definitely be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch with my family. Good portion size, tasty & hot. Our waitress was welcoming & friendly. Best nut roast I have tasted. Waitresses attentive at other tables. First visit for Sunday lunch , we will be back ????

Went here on recommendation, Sunday roast could not have been better, still drooling over my dessert. Absolutely the best service, brilliant waitress. Loved it, definitely booking here next year.

Was taken here by friends for a 40th birthday meal, food was absolutely delicious and very well presented. Have also visited a few time since and their cocktails are also out of this world!

No welcoming atmosphere! A very busy lady in charge who had the waitresses rushing about. Moving tables. The food was ok but I was on pibs all the time as if we were in the way or making the place untidy. A calm atmosphere with a smile and not rushing people is needed. I have been before the changes there and it was a different experience. Much better I thought.

Attentive staff, pleasant atmosphere. However cold draughts every time doors opened. The menu isn't exciting but what we had steak/hunters chicken was very well cooked. Little on the expensive side though.

Tried to book for pre-theatre meal as according to their website they were open - booked online and luckily my partner called and checked they got the booking to be told they don't open at the time we wanted - when it was explained their website said otherwise - he was told 'well we don't!' No apology or explaination - shame as they used to be really good - maybe a change in ownership??
