I have been going to Canterbury for years and really recommend them. The service is great and the salon is really clean. Danny has that place running like a well oiled machine and he always remembers my name, even when I’m not coming as frequently. I typically get gel pedicures and SNS manicures (total about $121) and leave happy. You might pay a bit of a premium here compared to some other salons, but I don’t mind considering the quality. I don’t get designs, so I can’t speak to how good they are at that. I recommend Van for anything, especially SNS manicures. She is fantastic.
First off, I have been trying to find an amazing nail tech that kills my favorite Nail shape (Almond). When I say this place is the best! I definite recommend. Everyone there does an amazing job. Big shout to Ms Tammy, love her she is amazing, and the ones responsible for doing my nails this visit ????♥️ My nails place Now!
I’ve been coming to this salon for almost ten years now. Danny is the manager and runs a tight ship; from making sure everything is clean and updated, to happy technicians, happy clients, and services are done properly and with the best tools. They off everything under the moon when it comes to manicures and pedicures, and truthfully it’d be a sin to go anywhere else. I also always get my facial waxing done here and the ladies who do it are always on point. You’d be hard pressed to find such a well-oiled and friendly atmosphere in the birmingham area. I’m including my most recent SNS with gel overlay just so y’all know that these technicians are second to none! (Vu did my most recent set, AND KILLED IT!!)
Very relaxing atmosphere and so many colors to choose from! Vu did a great job on my nails, I felt like he really listened to me and was so attentive to details that I was amazed by the result. I’m usually pretty picky about my nails but so glad I gave Canterbury Nails a try.

We did an event here, and it was fantastic with their help! Danny helped coordinate and plan, he was very accommodating. His team was super sweet and all of the guests had a great time! Also, my nails look great!

I’ve used this salon for years… I just recently went in and ask for a polish that one of the employees had on. It was very pretty. Little did I know it was a $50 up charge it would have been nice to know that before hand. Also my
Pedicure $70 was terrible it’s been 3 days ago and I still have paint on my skin and sore areas where he didn’t file it right. Unfortunately I will not be back nor be recommending.
After about a week with this manicure, I needed to pull the nail off because I noticed green spots under the add on. The manicure was rushed and honestly one of the worst I’ve had, but this is actually the second time I’ve had green spots on my nails after going to Canterbury. I’m not one to put out a review but this was just a let down!
Jodi did AMAZING! I went here December 4th and I’m just now needing to go back. She did exactly what I asked, and communicated with me of what exactly I need to ask for for future appointments. THEN to top it off, my fiancé proposed to me the same night and my nails were perfect ♥️
