We Loved it!! Perfect flavor on shrimp, fish and the most Amazing turnip greens Ever!! Hush puppies are large, just right on the crunch and soft inside!! Service was Great! Family atmosphere! Nothing fancy, just Good home-cooked food!
My food was not only delicious but it was piping hot!! The staff was super nice and friendly. My husband and I truly enjoyed our visit.
My first time eating here was so good I had to get it again the next week. Highly recommend. How did I not know this place existed and has for almost 30 years! Great food, great service, and great prices! Love to eat here now!

I wanted to say thank you for making THE BEST catfish stew. My daddy is bedridden with pancreatic cancer, and lung cancer, and his appetite isn’t present most days. On my way to work one morning this past week, I saw the catfish stew sign in your window. I called my mom later in the day to get her to ask him if he would be willing to try it that evening. He said he would try. I’m so happy and thankful to share that he ate the whole bowl, and said it was better than Old McDonald’s, and about the best he has had in his 80 years. Thank you for serving our great little community. I’ll never forget him eating that whole meal that day.
Definitely family oriented with alot of small town elder ambiance....I gave 4 stars on service for the simple fact is it is so busy and it's not a huge restaurant....food,the only way to say it is fantastic.....everything was delicious....oysters were good size and everything was cooked to perfection....for a true small town restaurant it rates top of the list without a doubt....just be patient and enjoy....all good things come to those who wait.
The Tilapia was sooooooo good and not fishy. The yams awesome and left me wanting more. The rice and gravy? Well.......... the gravy really had no flavor.
The food got better from the first time I try it the host was great friendly the parking lot needs to be improved.
