Excellent country cooking. We had the fried chicken with greenbeans, coleslaw, fried okra. Very good!! The staff was very friendly and so helpful!! Definitely a come back!! Oh and prices are very affordable.

Waited over 30 minutes for 3 fried chicken strips potato logs cold slaw and 2 plain baked potatoes ..They forgot the roll that went with chicken strips meal. All customers waited long time for their meals. Food was hot but food was not good . They must only have 1 cook. First and last time at this place. Don't recommend.

I have visited for lunch for the last 2 days. I have found the staff to be quite polite and friendly. The first day there was a little weight but to compensate for this they did give me a free sweet tea. Kudos for me :-) today I decided to call in my order since I am going during lunch hours and when I got there my food was already ready. The staff once again was very polite and friendly. My food is hot and fresh. I ordered pork chops with fried green tomatoes and broccoli and cheese with a roll. I think Bucks have a very nice menu and variety. I haven't tried their ice cream but hey who can mess up ice cream it all looks great here. If you are coming through the Alexander City area, I would recommend that you stop there if you have the time because it's not on the main Highway 280 is a little off the beaten path on Highway 22. Best fried chicken in all of Talapoolsa county city, their ice cream is best in all of Alexander city and their staff is best in all of Alabama!

Was in town visiting friends, had the whole chicken wings and hamburger steak.Both we’re delicious and crispy chicken…the sides were wrong..

I would give Bucks five stars,but the crew gets a little flustered when they get busy. I have been in twice and seen them break apart. Food is wonderful and service is like being at home other then those busy times. Try the chicken treat best fried chicken around.

Nice and clean, original up to date feel about the inside of the restaurant, best qualities comes in small business, if that makes any sense, but I would give it ????because how I came across, and profited is a beneficial way.????????

Better tasting than Popeys, cheaper than KFC but are always out of fried pickles and jalapeños
