A poor experience on this occasion, I'd like to say this was a one-off, but the cafe is extremely overpriced, £6.50 for a ham and cheese sandwich that looks like it came from a child's lunchbox, quiche that has been prepared with all the care and attention to detail of an axe murderer (with raw pastry), all served with a few leaves of rotten lettuce (or it might be a divet from the course?) at an attempt at a side salad. Come for the golf, but good gravy make sure you bring a packed lunch with you, or eat the balls once you've finished playing because the cafe is best off avoided.
Been here a few times. Not expensive to do pitch and putt but the ground need a bit of tlc. The hot summer didn't help though. Staff were friendly. Had drinks and ice cream ...not too expensive. Good fun and reasonable size. Three different courses to choose from. Good fun.
My favourite place to go on the island since I was little! Amazing family run pitch and putt course. 4 different types of courses for all ages and abilities. Free parking and cafe on site over looking the course/ beach. Staff are very welcoming and friendly.
We had a lovely lunch here before hunting for fossils along the coast. The cafe is really relaxing with a glass roof that housed a pumping station during the war and now keeps the cafe cosy on cold or blustery days. Great options for the kids, they loved the milk shakes. The coffee is great and the sandwiches we're yunmy. Next time I'll try the golf, the course is beautifully maintained with lovely views and there's even a green designed in the shape of the Isle of White!
First time I have been here as meeting a friend who suggested the location. Previous I have simply just drove by! Nice location overlooking the golf course and friendly staff and service with a good selection of drinks and food. Free parking for the cafe and golf course. Was informed that the location can be booked for parties ect. Was busy when I was there however that was due to the poor weather.
Well maintained, public, two 9 hole pitch and putt courses. The staff are friendly and looked like they enjoy their work. Café serves hot and cold drinks with cake.
Decent pitch and putt courses, friendly staff, not too expensive. Not very busy these days, might have seen better days but still worth it for a round or two.
Good choice of 2 putting greens and 2 pitch and putt courses. Also you can buy a day pass that allows you to play on all 4 as much as you want. The course was in a fairly good condition, especially as there had been a drought this summer.
There is a cafe adjacent to the clubhouse. Only downside is that the kitchen part was closed after 2pm when I visited, so the cooked food is only available at certain times. I only really wanted a cold drink though and they had a wide selection to choose from.
