Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Ordered smoked shredded chicken, which proceeded to give two of us food poisoning. Bad stomachs for both and it's the only thing we ate together. Have been hearing other rumours that this isn't the 1st case like this. Really surprised as used to be really good, Will definitely not be going back and will actively encourage others to stay away. Not happy at all!!!
This place has went down hill smoked shredded chicken isnt the same, thought maybe just an off night but going by other reviews seems too be a recurring thing, and dont even start me on the price was ridiculous for what i ordered tbh. Definitely a disappointment all round.
Shredded chicken covered in lumps of sugar, the curry sauce was sickly sweet, chips were absolutely smothered in ginger. Basically the worst Chinese we have ever had, if I could give this 0 stars I would
Best smoked SHREDDED chicken in Ayrshire. Its actually shredded chicken and no a big fat strip, also nice & crispy and plenty garlic cloves as well. Delish.
Best Chinese in Ayr. Ask for Smoked Shredded Chicken (crispy chicken). Its freshly made and is amazing. Chicken fried rice is best in Ayr and prawn crackers are light, thin and crispy. Always gutted when they are closed for a holiday.
Just had food from here and although it was tasty the amount of garlic that was in it was ridiculous binned half a bowl of just garlic. Delivery was quick but I paid £21.20 and for that I expected free prawn crackers which you don't get
worst chicken curry i’ve ever had in my life. that bad that i actually picked lots of ‘chicken’ out my chicken curry as i thought it was mushroom ???? the curry sauce was also dead sweet and in all a 0/10 and will not order from here again.
Tried this place for the first time tonight. Absolutely loved it, the smoked shredded chicken was amazing and such a big portion size, chicken curry and fried rice yummy :) will be using Brians from now on when I order takeaway food.

Strengths:

2. Delicious smoked shredded chicken: A positive comment highlights that the smoked shredded chicken is the best in Ayrshire. It is described as crispy and well-seasoned, which suggests a potential specialty of the restaurant.
3. Quick delivery: One customer mentions that the delivery was quick, indicating that the restaurant provides efficient service.
4. Generous portion size: A positive comment states that the portion size of the smoked shredded chicken was large, suggesting that the restaurant offers good value for money.
5. Good chicken fried rice: Another positive comment mentions that the chicken fried rice is the best in Ayr, indicating that the restaurant offers tasty rice dishes.
Weaknesses:
1. Food poisoning incident: A significant weakness is the comment about two customers experiencing food poisoning after consuming the smoked shredded chicken. This indicates a potential health and safety issue, which is a serious concern for any restaurant.
2. Negative reviews: Several comments mention that the quality of the smoked shredded chicken has declined. If this is a recurring issue, it suggests a consistent problem with the preparation or sourcing of this dish.
3. Oversweet curry sauce: One customer mentions that the curry sauce was sickly sweet. This suggests that the restaurant may not have the right balance of flavors in their sauces.
4. Overpriced: One negative comment mentions that the price was ridiculous for the food that was ordered. This indicates a possible issue with pricing, where customers feel that they are not getting good value for their money.
5. Excessive use of garlic: One customer mentions that there was an excessive amount of garlic in their food, to the point where they had to throw away a portion. This suggests a lack of attention to details and individual preferences.
To address these weaknesses and leverage the strengths, Brian's Peking & Cantonese place should take the following actions:
1. Investigate the food poisoning incident: This is the most critical issue that needs to be addressed. The restaurant should investigate the source of the food poisoning to ensure it does not happen again. They may need to review their food handling and storage processes or the quality of their ingredients.
2. Address consistency issues: If the decline in the quality of the smoked shredded chicken is a recurring problem, the restaurant should review their recipe and cooking methods to ensure consistency in taste and texture.
3. Adjust flavor profiles: Based on the comment about the sickly sweet curry sauce, the restaurant should reevaluate their recipes and adjust the flavors to achieve a more balanced taste. This can enhance the overall dining experience for customers.
4. Review pricing strategy: If customers perceive the prices to be high for the quality of the food, the restaurant should reassess their pricing strategy. They can conduct market research to understand customer expectations and competitors' prices to ensure they are offering fair value for money.
5. Address excessive use of garlic: The feedback regarding excessive garlic indicates a lack of attention to individual preferences. The restaurant should consider implementing better quality control measures to ensure that the dishes are prepared to meet customers' expectations.
By addressing these weaknesses and playing to their strengths, Brian's Peking & Cantonese place can improve their overall dining experience and regain customer trust. Regular quality checks, training staff on food handling and customer service, and actively seeking feedback from customers can help in maintaining a consistent and satisfactory experience for all patrons.
