I always go here to purchase hair supply's, very nice older man that works behind counter, prices are great.
The Dad racially profiles. I watch a customer in front of me use her card for purchase. When it was my time to purchase he wanted my identification card. I have been coming here for years and my family and friends even referred people. The last time I went in was this past weekend and he did the same thing. I went to get my identification card but change my mind because this was the second time it happened. I will no longer shop at this hair store. This has happen more once to me. Yes I do understand he has a job to do, but if he needs to make sure he stick with his process for every customer.
I really like this store you can find great hair, products, jewelry and even clothes! I also found a steering wheel cover and clock! The associates are ok could use some more customer service skills!
I'm visiting from Orlando fl and this was my first time in the store. the associate was very pleasant and helpful when I asked her about the products and showed me exactly what I was looking for. there also was a sale going on that I absolutely loved and was able to purchase some items that I wanted. I am sorry that I did not get the associates name, but thank you so much for help.
They have a wide variety of products, they have everything you can name, from shoes, belts and jewelry. The store is clean but it is a little cluttered. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the older guy that works there, he is so rude and disrespectful. I literally stopped going for a whole year because of him. I didnt want to give him any more of my money. But the other workers were kind and helpful.
I rarely come to any beauty mart they rarely have what I’m looking for and color I keep my card in my hand so I won’t be single out, after walking around not sure where stuff are he just sat at the counter watching the camera never ask if I needed help no other employee around I will stick to beauty line for my hair accessories since I get my 100% human hair free from private seller yet black people love shopping with these people making them rich Orangeburg need to get a black beauty store and not overpriced items like they like to do..
