Being new in town, I needed a barbershop. I read the reviews about Banana Joe's and decided to give it a try. It turned out to be as good as the reviews said. I only rated it with 3 stars because it was my first haircut there. I will adjust as time goes by. Never-the-less, I was very happy and enjoyed the experience. I would definitely suggest it at this time and hope to add more later.

The current owners have only owned it for two years. The original owners had it for 50. The photo shows items that belonged to the original owners. The ball of string caught my eye. It is made of strings from stacks of barber towels delivered in the past that were tied with a cotton string. Banana Joes has a lot of character!

Went in with my husband to get him a cut and to line his beard. Went to the counter and waited a few seconds when suddenly the lady working looked at us like we were stupid and rudely said “do you need help with something”. I wanted to look at her and say “yeah we’re here to pick up a pizza”. She was very rude and unprofessional ti the point that we just walked out.

Great place for an all American plain simple military haircut where someone like your grandfather, father, uncle, young men or boys or just a old married guy. Great atmosphere and friendly feeling. Don't expect a fancy establishment, this barber shop is just that, a haircut. All who just want a haircut, this is the place for you! I rate this business a 5 Star.

Extremely friendly people, fast and quality haircut. What's not to love. I'm so happy to have found this place, it reminds me of where my dad used to take me to get a haircut.

To me it feels like it's right out of the 70's, or at least what I imagine the 70's were like. Unlike the quick clip joints of today you can get a fast haircut and not feel rushed and pushed. You step down into the place and just feel life slow down a bit.

Highly recommend the place!

Always like coming here for a good haircut. I always get a combover style hair cut short all around with a transition to 3 inches on top. Like the old school straight edge blade to clean up the back. Best prices in town.

I got my hair cut here and had a great experience. They listen to what you would like done and do a great job. The price is nice too.

Can’t go wrong with this classic establishment, the barbers are down to earth and easy to talk to if you want or have no problem with being silent they seem to adapt to your mood. i was surprised with with my barbers extensive knowledge of hockey which was a pleasant surprise.

They really do great at cutting my sons hair. I've tried so many places, my friend referred me to them. So very happy with them cutting my sons hair from now on.
