If you tell me you don’t do shampoos or braid downs, then what do you do?? I’ve been to this chic before and if you not spending major money, she not gonna present you with the services you looking for. I suggest you look elsewhere for a reasonable beautician.
I just want to say that I am over satisfied with the service that I received. Jessica is professional, kind, attentive and very respectful of her clients. This was my 2nd visit and she did not disappoint. She listened to my concerns when I booked my first appointment. She was very patient with me because I did not know what I wanted. She explained the entire process in detail and she made me feel comfortable. I mattered to her and those qualities are very important to me. She shielded me from the outside and gave me the privacy I deserved and this made me feel even more comfortable. It’s worth the $. I can truly say that I found the type of stylist I’ve been looking for and I’m here to stay. Thank you Jessica for being the business woman that you are.
Blessings to your establishment and to you too.
I absolutely love Jessica!! She is so sweet and fast. I don’t have to wait in the salon forever.. My hair is always on point, she never disappoint me!! I haven’t been to this shop, but the one in Byron is absolutely gorgeous and welcoming!! I highly recommend her!!
Owner is nice and the assistant as well. But my review is based on my hair experience. Went 5 months ago for sew in. My braids and sewing were so tight it pulled out my edges and I have never had this issue since I have long thick hair. I have been oiling down my edges daily with just about anything that says ”grow” to reverse what 2mth long hair style did. This by far was not my first sew in but it surely my last.
The place is clean. Professionally, you need to ask your new clients about allergies and make them aware that your some of YOUR processes include glue and the glue have a latex base. Ask about spritz before you spray! I spent big money only to have the hair removed in the emergency ROOM because I was not aware of the STUFF she was putting in my hair. When I texted Baby Doll and told her what happened she immediately went into defense mode. Baby Doll stated, "I have to speak with the owner and get back with you." (meaning , I got your money honey so I've already been paid) As of today Crickets!!!!!! I have blisters and sores in my head from the spritz and the glue. Baby Doll did not tell me that my hair was to fine for the process she used. However the Dr. in the ER did! . (Maybe Baby Doll needed the money) If you want to lose your hair, Baby Doll the place to visit. Yes, she was nice. However, Baby Doll Weave Shop would NEVER RECIEVE A REFERRAL FROM ME! I would NOT refer another CANCER SURVIVOR to this shop! Never! Money over honesty! Oh, she offered me an appoint on Wednesday of the next week.
Very professional, knowledgeable about hair and products. Jess made me feel welcome. Awesome stylist and very passionate about her work. Will definitely go back.
I was a walk in . I normally do my own hair but I just wanted someone else to do it. They told me to be there before one oclock... I did have to wait but it was fine. The end result is fabulous. Jessica is a fast sewer . She has a customer for life and the price was reasonable
I chose this hair salon because I like the way Jessica do sewins. However Its unprofessional to have the clients assume , after confirmation that you would be doing both braid down and sewin. NOT just that say one of your stylist must have said that. The very first time I came to the shop no one called me to inform me that my appt had changed an hour later and I said okay that's fine. Then for a second time I ask for Jessica and she confirmed...after stating she do not braid down at the shop and why I understood, so I was ok I would letting them braid my hair down and still did not get the service because I stated I did Not want different stylist doing my hair. I REQUESTED JESSICA. I would not have booked the service otherwise. Yes I was a Mayvenn client , however you are not supposed to say "Mayvenn don't pay you enough anyway, they only give us a certain amount "
