absolutely love this place, the people and how well it's kept. everyone's so friendly and Ryan never fails to leave a smile on my face whenever he either trims, ombré or styles my hair! he knows how to leave your hair looking and feeling healthy. highly recommend coming here but definitely make sure you call and book in advance! they book up so quick because they are so good!
Lady that cut my daughter's hair was below standard. Never even confirmed with me, being the parent, if I was satisfied with the haircut. For $55 it should have been immaculate also. I will never go there again.
This was my first time at Babooshka and I am so so glad I went there for my hair cut. Due to COVID I was super paranoid to step in a salon but the moment I entered I was confident the place is clean and safe. Their cleanliness is at par. They regularly sanitize the chairs right after one customer gets off. Very hygienic atmosphere they have maintained. I got my haircut from Kira and I am all praises for her. She is a darling. Very patient in listening to what the customer needs and then delivering exactly the same. At the same time, she is super friendly and warm. We chatted through out the hair cut and that’s what made the whole experience all the more welcoming. And the haircut, well, I am more than happy with my hair cut. She did a great job and I love my new hairstyle. I went with one of my friends who got a haircut too from Kira and we are both very happy with our respective cuts. Thank you Kira. You are amazing. This definitely is going to be my go to salon now. Strongly recommend Babooshka to everyone.
I’ll start by saying: Lori has been cutting my hair since I was 5 years old. I only get my haircut 4-5 times a year, so coming here truly feels like a treat. The atmosphere at Babooshka is AWESOME! Every single person working there is fantastic—the place itself is so cute, clean, cozy, and they always have wine and yummy snacks on hand. I highly recommend Babooshka!
Stylists are experienced. My hair always looks awesome when I leave.
It was my first day and I feel in love with this salon. I wanted to have a hair cut and Cathleen ( I guess I spell her name correctly) did an amazing job!

What a wonderful salon! I've been going to Babooshka for about a year now. Ryan is my stylist and he really listens to what I want and he explains how to blow dry so you can recreate the look at home! They are very reasonably priced. The inside is so cute and relaxing! Oh did I mention my color is fabulous?!
I had bad hair color experience in past so before going for another hair color I made one haircut appointment at Babooshka with Ryan.
He gave me really nice haircut and I was quite satisfied with the results. Also, I was talking with him if I can get hair color of my choice. I told him about my past bad hair color experience and all the information he needed to understand what all my concerns are, where he assured me any hair color I want is surely achievable on my hair and he himself suggested half balayage is what I can go with. He gave me confidence to book another appointment with him for half balayage hair color and haircut.
Looking forward I was so excited to finally get the look and color I want. I did my study and had pictures with me of color I was looking for.
I would say they just wanted me to spend my money for another bad experience.
Ryan didn't really listen to my request at all.
My appointment was for half balayage but he said he will do in a way that they will look balayage and when I asked him why not balayage then he said it's not possible with your hair. I still have no idea why is that so ? And then he asked me weather I want the color on my bangs I firmly said no but he still did it and when I asked why did you color my bangs he said they would look disconnected otherwise, well then why you asked me at first place!!!!
Anyways going forward I showed him the picture explaining the color I want and he did opposite not even close to my color choice.

I don't know what red some kind of red tones or burgundy I don't know what color is this.
Far from what I wanted. When he was showing me his color shades book I turned the page with any kind of red or burgundy tones . And specifically told him please no reds at all. But I don't think he was paying any attention to anything I was saying. The moment he washed my hair I immediately told him my god I don't want this, this is red then he started talking about the lights in the area is the reason it's looking this way that way. Once they are blow dried color would come out better.I told him to plz change it but he kind of kept arguing and telling me see this is what you asked for this is what you said you want.
Well No No No No No I did not.
I didn't see any point arguing then because I saw he was in no mood to fix it. And the haircut he gave me after that just took him 2-3 mins that's it ! 2-3 mins and I was as shocked.
I still made another appointment just to be polite with the receptionist. But that appointment is canceled for sure.
I am so disappointed that I won't recommend this place for hair color at all.
And I agree with few reviewers here that Ryan doesn't really listen to your requests.
