I was able to find a couple of black owned products which was a good thing. The one star rating comes from first, being jipped my change upon leaving. Where I had to request the correct amount. Secondly, after driving halfway home I noticed that I was charged twice for the most expensive item. Where one of those items was $3 cheaper. Maybe a coincidence Maybe not! Yet gas is too high to have to turn around to get your correct change. Lastly the item prices at $9.99 is sitting on the shelf for $8.99. I pointed that out and instead of moving the items to the correct spot. The lady only adjusted the product in a straight line under the wrong price. Watch for your change! Check your prices!
The customer service here is terrible and I very much doubt it is going to change. I took a entire year off from shopping with this company and decided to go in with my mother from out of state for the convience a few days ago, prior to entering the store I said nothing about the store to her & she had no idea I had many issues with them before. As she searched for different products she asked the cashier where she could find certain products & asked about the prices on some products b/c she could not locate them herself. The cashier seemed very bothered her attitude was not friendly or welcoming at all. She kept murmuring to another employee in her language also. We ignored all of her actions and still decided to purchase, my mom asked her if she could use her cosmetology license for the 10% discount & she rudely declined. My mother decided at that very moment she did not want to patronize their company b/c she felt highly unappreciated. We decided to leave and shop at the hair store in Kannapolis called J&J beauty store. Not only was there customer service great their prices were even greater. The lotta body wrap foam at B&k was 10.99 and 5.99 at J&J. B&K will not see any business from me or my mother and J&J just gained a loyal customer!
I come here for most of my beauty needs. I love only having to go to one location for all of my products and this is the location! The store is always clean, stocked, and the workers are always so eager to help!

The young Asian cross sided girl is very rude and manly and treats black as If they live in the ghetto. They send their staff members to stalk you around the store. They expect you to buy half empty jars and they dilute their products and want you to be a happy customer. Half their products are locked up or have no seal on them . They need to be put out of business. The ladies at J& j beauty supply in Kannapolis treat blacks wayyy better. The Asian and the Hispanics at this store treat customers as if they were inhuman which should not be tolerated.
My aunt works here , I’ve been there before their is great customer service and they everything I needed.
The MOST RACIST & UNPROFESSIONAL BEAUTY SUPPLY STORE in Concord! They have shown blatant disrespect towards me on numerous occasions with my child! THEY Have followed me around the store and rushed me and argued with me when I’ve respectfully voiced my concerns ! I will NEVER go back to this beauty supply store. They should be out of business with the below average customer service they display! Black people please DO NOT SUPPORT THIS ESTABLISHMENT! Wish I could rate it a -0!!
This place really sucks!!! I would go to the beauty supply stores that are owned by African or African Americans. There's Beauty Talks in Huntersville and Aldan's Beaty Supply off of Prosperity Church. I or my wife will ever deal with the disrespect and blatant, horrible customer service. If it wasn't for us what type of customers would they have. Let's stop supporting garbage and we won't get garbagy-type of customer service. We deserve better! I hate to even give them a 1- star....
‼️PLEASE READ‼️WHATEVER YOU DO PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS ESTABLISHMENT YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS, PRODUCTS, or SERVICE! I received the absolute worst service here on 1/2/2018! I came into the establishment to purchase weave and hair glue for a quick weave. I only purchase human hair and quality products but I moved and am no longer close to any other beauty supply store other than Sally’s. I drove a good distance to come to this store! Service was decent at first until I realized they follow you around the store as if you are stealing. I am a hard working business woman and I came in with only one goal in mind and that was to obtain my hair, purchase it and go home and install it. I got home, pulled out the glue and noticed it wasn’t coming out. I took a fork and pulled out the old glue. I immediately called them and explained what happened and that the glue appeared to be old and expired. It also had a foul smell! The girl who answered didn’t seem apologetic in any way! She simply told me to come back with my receipt which I did. I got there and opened other glue bottles and they were ALL lumpy!!!! I then picked up another brand and it was perfect. The girl at the register explained that the glue that I was holding was .39 more! I said well I did just waste gas to come back over here, you can’t just let me have the one for 39 CENTS MORE! I also explained that on my first purchase I let her keep my change that they owed me so she can retrieve the 39 cents from there! She literally demanded that I give her 39 CENTS!!!! Not dollars! CENTS! Measly pennies!!!!!!! I reached in my bag, gave her 30 cents and left! There was more said but too much to type! Long story short, that was the WORST experience I’ve ever had! Absolutely embarrassing! The way that I was spoke to was unacceptable! I will make SURE people know that this establishment is run by disrespectful people that sell expired products!
