First time there today. I got a hair cut by memo. Really chill dude. Really knows his way around a clipper. If you are like me. You know your barber is sacred. Moved out here not too long ago. Tried different barbers. All good. Just didn't have that damm my boy you got down. 25$ for a cut. Is a good price. Quick. Clean. Friendly. He is my new barber in compton.
I have been going here for a while now and there is a reason. Most of the barbers are really good at their jobs and leave you with a nice and fresh cut every time.
Had the pleasure of having Patty cut my hair and she did a great job, I've been here 3 times now in the last 4 years. I've been trying to find a new hairdresser and I got her card to make sure I have her cut my hair next time. I loved the 1st time I got my hair cut here, the 2nd time I was here I got an okay haircut, ( I didn't get the name for the 1st hairdresser) so I was giving this place another shot and I'm glad I did. It's not close to me, but I used to drive to Gardena so this is next door compared to that. I've tried several other places, but I think I'll stick to this one.Patty was very talkative and friendly!
Hands down best barber shop in town. I would tell you who the best barber is but if I do that then he's going to get a lot more customers and then I'm going to have to wait longer for my turn. But I'm not going to be selfish his name is BETO ;) I don't even have to tell him how I want my hair he knows already. But everybody there's a pretty good ;)
I now come here when I'm not in a rush, compared to when I first started using this shop as my main spot. The wait is unbelievably long...even in the morning when its practically empty. That is the reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars. The service is great, and all of the barbers know their stuff and will not disappoint. The unisex side of the barber shop is also good, so don't be afraid to get your fade from one of the nice barber women/stylists over there...you'll be surprised and not be nervous afterwards, trust me. My only warning to you is to make sure you are prepared to spend anywhere between 1-2 hours waiting, and maybe another hour for the actual haircut for a grand total of roughly 2.5 hours when you visit. If you're in a hurry, just cross on over to the unisex side of the shop, and problem solved.Overall a good Barber Shop ????.
First time ????. Barber Mary is very friendly and fast cutter. Looking forward to come more often.
How do you mess up a haircut that barly?? Seriously, I wanted to keep my fringe long and just cut short the back and the old day there cut my entire frindge short and in a u shape?? And back looked decent but come on ???????? the picture was right there!! Never coming back again, even my dad hated it and I have school tomorrow ????????
Sergio did a good job on my 1 year old boy

Quick Facts About Azteca Barber Shop

Azteca Barber Shop appears to have several strengths based on the comments provided. Firstly, customers appreciate the skill and expertise of the barbers. One customer specifically mentions that Memo, a barber at the shop, is knowledgeable and skilled with clippers. Another customer mentions that most of the barbers are good at their jobs and consistently deliver fresh and nice haircuts. This indicates that the shop is staffed with competent and talented barbers who can cater to different customer preferences.
Another strength of Azteca Barber Shop is the affordable price. One customer mentions that $25 is a good price for a haircut, indicating that the shop offers competitive pricing in the area. This affordability is likely a draw for customers who are looking for quality haircuts at reasonable prices.
The shop is also characterized as clean and friendly. Several customers mention the cleanliness and friendliness of the barbers and staff. This creates a welcoming and comfortable environment for customers, enhancing their overall experience.
Furthermore, the loyalty and trust displayed by customers towards their preferred barbers is a strength for the shop. One customer mentions that the barber named Beto is the best and doesn't even need instructions on how the customer wants his hair. This level of trust and familiarity indicates that the barbers have built strong relationships with their customers, which can lead to repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals.
However, there are also a few weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One recurring issue is the long wait times at the shop. One customer mentions that even in the morning when it's empty, the wait can be unbelievably long. Another customer mentions that the wait can be between 1-2 hours, with an additional hour for the actual haircut. This extended waiting time can be a deterrent for customers who are in a hurry or have a busy schedule.
Additionally, there is a negative review from a customer who received a haircut that did not meet their expectations. The customer mentions that their desired style was not achieved, leading to disappointment and the decision to not return to the shop. While this may be an isolated incident, it highlights the importance of consistent quality and meeting customer expectations.
Overall, Azteca Barber Shop appears to have strong barber skills, affordable prices, and a friendly atmosphere. However, the shop should address the issue of long wait times to improve the overall customer experience. Additionally, consistent quality and meeting customer expectations should be prioritized to avoid negative reviews and retain customer loyalty. By addressing these weaknesses, the shop can further enhance its strengths and reputation within the community.
