I don’t like to leave negative reviews but I feel that I wasted my money visiting this salon. I’m sure there are plenty of professionals here but my experience was un-relaxing and a waste of money.
My gel polish is very thinly applied, uneven, and it is chipping less than 20 hours later. My cuticles look ravished.
I had to request hand lotion after a UV gel manicure. In the future I will go off of appearances and judge by the outside. I’ve had much better $30 + tip manicures and will probably need to have this one redone. Big sigh.
It frankly doesn’t even look as good as me putting regular polish on my nails myself. - for reference the second photo is my last $30 gel manicure at another salon.
Yesterday got my Nexgen manicure with Kelvin. I selected color he did design. Kelvin is creative, professional & pleasant.
I love my new design!☺
The salon is very clean & staff pleasant.
Update: I just wanted something very simple...Kelvin hand painted design! Love it!☺
Alright so i use to go here all the time but the Quality and nails have gotten worse I went today because my other nail salon was packed and I asked for a glitter French and this is what I got and I paid $50 for it It honestly look like a little kid did You can see exactly where she put a glob of dip powder . Super thick . Just don’t go there unless it’s a true emergency and even at that go somewhere else . It says Luis but it’s actually his wife writing .
I never ever right reviews but this experience definitely deserves one. I had an appointment at 6pm but got there a little earlier and got seen right away only to be told that Kelvin doesn’t do pink and white the “old way” which is with acrylic so they sent me to Adam because he was supposedly very good at it. Just in case I did show him a picture of what I wanted and he said I can do it for you. The whole time I asked was he sure he can do it and he said yes. Adam was very nice. However, I was not satisfied with the way my acrylic pink and white came out. I showed him a picture specifically of what I wanted because I wanted to know if he could do that. I would of rather him be honest and tell me that he couldn’t do it and went on about my day. The acrylic isn’t even throughout the nail. I asked for square and this is like round; when I asked for square again he said it has to be a little round. Some of the acrylic goes past the cuticles up onto my actual skin. He took his time and he really tried but I will not be returning. They’re so horrible I actually went home and took them off because as soon as he was done they were closed. Just save your time.

Was an old regular - I'm never coming back.
Bad experience today, awful customer service as well. First, my pedicurist couldn't understand anything I said to him - he was much rougher than I'm able to tolerate due to nerve damage which is EXTREMELY painful, and only understood he was hurting me after I had pulled my foot back several times and said ouch. Then, he didn't even properly exfoliate me and left dead skin all over my feet. (Pic attached)
Then I ended up with three people who worked on me when I had called YESTERDAY to book with Ivy. The last was a young man, good English, terrible attitude. I had asked for a matte top coat instead of shiny, so he put it on one foot, then told me there would be an EXTRA CHARGE for the top coat! I disagreed with paying the extra charge, very carefully suggested they might want to inform clients of extra charges BEFORE they begin... At that point he just walked away rudely, calling back over my shoulder about if I had a problem paying then I don't have to pay - other customers were watching all this, too. It seemed like he was offended that I expressed disagreement with a surprise charge, and then the manager said NOTHING in response to all this.
Anyway, TLDR: the same pretend-nice, surprise up-charging south Asian nail shop you'll find anywhere else. You can find better.
Great people. Great mani pedi. Been coming here for years.
