My nails are super cute the only issue that I had was I paid $55 for this service and when she was filing my nails she didn't realize that she was filing my thumb because she didn't separate my side nail bed from the acrylic. So I had about 2cm cut in my skin of a cut she put super glue in it and still charged me full price. I did still tip her because I love my nails but my thumb hurt for probably a good week and a half. I probably will not be going back.
It took me years to find the perfect mail salon here in Wichita and I have finally found it. I’ve been coming here for over a year and I never have left disappointed. Deena specifically does an amazing job EVERY single time. Tommy the owner is so funny and kind. All of the girls are so sweet and welcoming. Plus the prices you just can’t beat!! ❤️
Completely satisified everytime I get my nails done. Tommy is the best he does amazing work. Just look at the pictures. He made my baby girls nails look magnificent for her birthday.... Highly Recommended
Pictures 2-6 are from my visit yesterday ( 11-21-20)... My nails are fine, I love how they came out!. Best place to go get Dip ( which is the only thing I get now).. Now my pedicure on the other hand was not such a great turn out!.. my big is still very sore today!.. I also feel like I was over charged for everything I got done!.. I didn't want to say anything, I didn't want to argue with anyone, Tommy is a nice person and has such wonderful nice staff!. I was already tired, it was getting kind of late, and I had already been their 3 and half hours...
The customer service was awful. I went in requesting a dip powder and when the nail tech asked me what shape I wanted I requested Oval which she then proceeded by telling me that "Oval looks old" and did a stiletto shape on my nails instead. Then I requested shellac on my toes, without the pedicure service because I was low on time but needed them painted for an event later that night, the lady that did my shellac was talking down on my toes INSISTING I get a pedicure which I understand they might be required to try to upsell but I counted a total of 5 times that I had to tell her No, and that I didn't have time. It was also quite embarrassing for her to talk down on my toes and that the polish wasn't going to look good unless I got a pedicure service. Making fun of a PAYING CUSTOMER is NO way to try and upsell a service. I think it should also be noted that No means just that, NO. She also pointed out that I didn't leave a tip (which I obviously wasn't going to after I was made fun of throughout my service). Nails Today was packed so I decided to give this place another try because my mom used to be a regular here, but I will NEVER be coming back. Obviously there's a reason they are always empty and aren't as successful.
Walked in Sunday afternoon to bring my mom & I to treat our selves, we are both Hispanic we were greeted nicely & were told there were 2 people ahead of us so we sat down to wait. 2 Caucasian ladies walked in after us and asked if there was any spots left due to them not having appointments set up & were told that there were 4 people ahead of them that there would be a longer wait for them they sat down and waited as well. As my mom & I waited for about 30min they sat her down for her mani & pedi. I was told I still had to wait due to there being only one person left ahead of me to finish up. As I waited I noticed the main guy being the 2 ladies that had walked in AFTER us being brought up before me they sat them down & started working on them FIRST. I asked them why if I was there first the owner proceeded to lie to me & say that they had set up appointments after I had just heard them clearly state they had NO appointment made. At that point I was already a little upset. I proceeded to wait for them to do full sets on the 2 ladies that had walked in AFTER me. He finally got to me & started working on my full set. He started tugging & pulling my hand harder than usual. I told him if he could please not handle me that way & be a little more gentle he grunted. I noticed him rushing through my work & definitely not taking his time or patience to properly work on my nails. As he’s working on my nails I notice he’s not doing them evenly I ask him if he can do the lines more evenly & he began talking in his language I don’t know what was said. He started doing the lines on my nails & I noticed they weren’t even I asked him if he could make them more even & said okay after grunting. This was my end result in my opinion it was not worth the hour & a half I waited, having been put to the side after having gotten there first & respectfully waited. I left feeling offended & was definitely not worth the $50 I payed for or the hour and a half I had to wait. Will not be coming back. Overall sloppy & rushed work was not worth my time.
I was so impressed with this salon. Everyone was nice and quick to help. My nails were done beautifully. The lady who did them was nice and very sweet. Taking off my old nails she told me to tell her if it hurt. She was sincere in making me comfortable. I’ve been to other places and this wasn’t the case. Also she took care in giving me the nails I wanted by shaping them various times to get them just the right Shape. I’m looking forward to my next visit already!
Usually get a great manicure with acrylic fill and gel polish. Need more bronze or copper colors for fall. I like to color with the seasons
