THE HEAVYSET BARBER IN THE CORNER THAT NAME STARTS WITH A D, IS LAZY, UNPROFESSIONAL AND DOES NOT DO GOOD WORK !! When I arrived asked was there a barber on-site. I was told yes and I heard her ask him was he available. So I waited until he finished his client. I explained to him the type of haircut I wanted and after 2 attempts, he couldn’t deliver. My sons head looks like he needs a hair cut. He asked me if I wanted another cut as if he delivered a cut the first time. He told me he would cut it tomorrow and I let him know that I would not be bringing him back for him to finish his haircut. He proceeded to cut him lower. He asked me did he cut his hair low enough and I said no! He said they were closed. He asked for $15 for the mess he made in my child’s head. I gave him two 5’s and he had the audacity to tell me that I didn’t give him $15 as if I could not count what two 5 dollar bills were. My son is giving the speech at his honor program and this is what that barber wanted him to look like. NEVER AGAIN! I was being nice about the $10. I paid him for his time and DEFINITELY NOT the job…
I come here often. The sisters are friendly and does good work.
I am very pleased with the quality of my hair, the sisters were very kind and professional. Next time I'm going to come early. I waited a bit to be seated but that is understandable since I did come on the weekend in the afternoon. I wanted a simple style and they glammed it up and were done in 45 minutes. I just may make this my new braiding spot.
I called a day before to see what time will someone be at the shop and Salma told me a time. Her and other braiders get there an hour later. Other customers was waiting too. I get told to come back at later time and she will call. She didn’t call and I called to see if some one will do my hair because it was going on almost 5 afternoon. She told me to come and some one was ready to do my hair. I only stay 5 minutes from the shop. I get there they have some else new in the chair that wasn’t even there when the shop opened and
I’m still waiting . I just left went to another shop and wasted a day trying to my hair braided.
Selma did a great job on my hair! She’s is very sweet and professional. I will definitely be coming back to her.
I had great service here... I would definitely be back... you have a customer for life... my hair looks exactly how I showed them I wanted.... they even let me put some of my business cards in their salon and got me some clients that needed life insurance.... my baby sister is moving here this year so I have referred her to your hair salon.
I wouldn’t recemmond any one to this place. Selma braided my hair quick it wasn’t tight and my braids were loose. She spaced the back of my braids out so that she could finish quicker on my hair. I realized the next day that my braids in the back had gaps and my real hair was coming out of the braid. Also some of my hair in the back was still left out that she didn’t braid. The next day after I asked her to re do them she only did 5 braids at the bottom the right way and wouldn’t continue without extra money. The people in this shop are lazy and she charged me 120 and wanted more. She made a comment that I got what I paid for. So if you want medium size braids or big braids they are going to space them out to get finish quicker. I recemmond going to Tina’s hair braiding shop near the West end mall. I’ve been going there since I was 8 years old and they are the best and they also have great prices!
It’s ok. I came here once before for box braids and it wasn’t bad. This time, I only had a day in between travel and got goddess braids. The gel they use is gunky and left the front of my hair white. (Had to wipe it with a wet towel.) Now the gel is hard & crusty.
Cool plan B, but I’m going to try somewhere else next time.
