Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Great place to get nails done. Friendly, work quick but careful. You get several choices as to what you want done. Place is very clean
Went to 2001 Nails today after having a bad experience at Paradise Nails in Saint Paul. Overall, I'm happy with my experience. My almond shape is slightly turned on one side, but the guy that helped me took his time to make sure that the final form looked good. The girl that finished my polish was nice to talk to and very friendly.
Just had my nails done here. Just a simple gel polish natural nail. The service was quick, good, friendly staff. I like the atmosphere, it isn't super tacky. I saw them quickly address a customer's nail issue as I was there. Polite and professional. $21. I will be back
Very clean, pleasant, great manicure, but WAY too expensive. Over $50.00 ( inc. tip) for acrylic fill. They charge extra for oval shaped nails, extra for cuticle care, extra for hand lotion/massage. I won’t be back
I received a signature pedicure here. The people working were nice and the salon is beautiful, clean and very COVID cautious. The massage chairs were comfortable, service left a little to be desired. My nails look nice, but the bottoms of my feat still have a good amount of dead skin in them that usually is taken care of during a pedicure.
What bothered me most is the gal pointed to the tip sign at the end. Of course I tip, and I tip well…but it felt very pushy (tips are also only accepted in cash or check so please come prepared). I did tip, as I always do for services. There was no thank you for the tip or for coming in so it felt awkward.
I have been a regular at this nail shop for 20 plus years. I have noticed a shift within the past couple of years of how I am being treated. I am a kind and friendly person who enjoy conversation when I am getting my nails done. Danny, the nail tech who usually does my nails stopped talking to me. Imagine sitting with someone who does not talk to you (Awkward). During my last appointment, I asked him if he could recommend the best products to help my cuticles stay healthy. He ignored my question and barley answered after asking 3 times. Prior to this visit, the owners were on vacation and a family member was running the shop (sister). I asked for a fill and my nails to be shorten. She did a good job with shortening my nails, but the fill was the worst I had ever had. I came back and had her to correct the problem. I got the feeling she was not happy with my complaint about her work. The owner Ben is an excellent nail tech. I enjoy Lily and when she is there, I know that I am going to have good conversation. Even though Danny does not like to talk and not friendly he does good work. I am a psychologist and it is my job to observe behavior. I have noticed that certain people are greeted friendlier than others. You would think that a regular who comes every 3 weeks for the past 20 years plus would be greeted with warmth. The energy towards me certainly has not felt warm and welcoming and I am not sure why. I went to the shop today as a walk in and they were very busy. I made an appointment for later during the day. I gave them my name and cancel the appointment. I was told thanks for canceling, I got to go, we are busy. I was not asked if I would like to reschedule. Today, I went to a different nail shop and it was a refreshing change to be greeted with warmth, kindness, and good conversation. I am sad that it had to end this way. I am giving a 3 because they do good work a large percentage of the time.
Only nail salon I will go to. Family owned, kind people, relaxing and never pushy.
This is the only nail place my daughter and I go to. They are very pleasant and do an excellent job. This is the absolutely cleanest nail place I’ve been to. I trust these people.

Quick Facts About 2001 Nails of Woodbury

2001 Nails of Woodbury has received mostly positive comments about their services and facilities. Some of the strengths identified from the comments are:
1. Friendly and quick service: Many customers have mentioned that the staff at 2001 Nails are friendly and provide quick service. This is a positive aspect as it shows that the salon values customer satisfaction and strives to make the experience pleasant and efficient.
2. Attention to detail: The comment about the almond-shaped nails being slightly turned on one side but then corrected indicates that the staff at the salon take their time to ensure that the final outcome looks good. This attention to detail is an important quality for a nail salon and can contribute to customer satisfaction.
3. Cleanliness: Several comments highlight that the salon is very clean. This is a significant strength as cleanliness is essential in a nail salon to maintain a hygienic and safe environment for customers.
4. Multiple service options: One customer mentioned that there are several choices available for what customers want to have done. This indicates that 2001 Nails offers a variety of services to cater to different customer preferences, which can be seen as a strength.
5. Trustworthy and family-owned: Another comment states that 2001 Nails is a family-owned salon and the customer trusts the people working there. This is a positive trait as it shows that the salon has built a reputation for being reliable and trustworthy.
Despite these strengths, there are also some weaknesses that have been identified:
1. High prices: One customer complained about the high cost of services, mentioning that they were charged over $50 (including tip) for an acrylic fill, with additional charges for different nail shapes, cuticle care, and hand lotion/massage. This suggests that the prices at 2001 Nails may be considered too expensive by some customers.
2. Pushy attitude towards tipping: A customer mentioned that they felt pressured to tip and that the nail technician pointed to the tip sign at the end. The fact that tips are only accepted in cash or check can also be seen as inconvenient for customers. This pushy attitude towards tipping may make some customers uncomfortable and could be considered a weakness.
3. Decline in customer service: One long-term customer mentioned that they have noticed a decline in the way they are treated at the salon, with specific issues mentioned about the nail technicians not engaging in conversation and not addressing concerns adequately. This indicates that there might have been a decrease in customer service quality over time.
4. Inconsistent quality of work: Another long-term customer mentioned that while certain nail technicians like Ben and Lily do good work, others like Danny are not friendly and do not provide good conversation. This inconsistency in the quality and customer interaction can be seen as a weakness, as customers have different experiences depending on the technician they get.
In conclusion, 2001 Nails of Woodbury has strengths in terms of friendly and quick service, attention to detail, cleanliness, service variety, and being a trustworthy and family-owned establishment. However, there are weaknesses related to high prices, a pushy attitude towards tipping, a decline in customer service, and inconsistency in the quality of work. Taking these strengths and weaknesses into consideration, customers may need to weigh their priorities and preferences before deciding whether to visit 2001 Nails.
