She was very professional and fast. I arrived to my appointment on time and she finished an hour early! My hair style is Box Braides with Wavy ends!! Please reserve your appointments ladies, she is worth it! Thank You YK!

First let me just say how sweet and professional she is! I am very very pleased with my services. I asked for one thing but she delivered even better. Super quick! It usually takes anywhere from 6-10 hours to get box braids but it only took her 3 hours for medium size mid back length box braids. I will upload pics later. But I would definitely recommend her and I will definitely be going back!

I called her on a Sunday morning and she was able to accommodate my request for box braids and I was out of there within 3 1/2 hrs. She was professional and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back.

Let me start by saying I am so grateful for Yk African Hair Braiding! That's the understatement of the year. I had been calling around all day. Mind you, it was Christmas Eve yesterday, and no one was open. I called Yk and she told me to come right over! She did my hair in about 2 and half hours. Now let me tell you why I have so much appreciation for this woman. First off, I have the worst social anxiety. She made me feel safe. She was welcoming, allowed me to watch TV, offered me refreshments, and didn't try and snatch my soul out through my hair. When it was all said and done, I felt beautiful. This is the first time I've ever done box braids. I feel and look like a new person. Thank you so much for your kindness.

I have been to most braiders in Columbus and YK surpasses all. Her professionalism and focus goes beyond. Unlike most braiding shops YK have the all focus on your head. I went to get box braids done, she started at 5 and was done like 740. I know it could have taken me 4-5 hours somewhere. These were mid back medium braids. I will pay for time anytime. Not to mentioned you won’t be crying while having your hair done. Her hands are gentle for the scalp. YK keep up the good work! The prices are reasonable and she is worth all the money especially if she will finish your hair 2 hours ahead of time. She takes deposits prior to appointment and I support her new policy because people make appointments and cancel or don’t show up. She’s too good for all the inconvenience. I am glad to find MDV, Atlanta, Nashville type service in Columbus. I haven’t wrote a review for any of braiders, so I had something to say about her. Focus, time, and quality work is all most people need! Again the gentle hands for my sensitive scalp is an addition to the package. Can’t wait for my next service!

I requested small knotless braids and was charged $220, referred my sister to her and my sister sent her a picture of me with the braids she did and she told my sister that those braids were medium size braids for $180! When I called back for a refund of $40 she refused. I'm a woman in my 40's who rarely gets braids and she clearly took advantage.

Yk was amazing. Not only was she extremely prompt in securing me an appointment the same week I called. But she started my hair on time and had me completed and walking out the door all under 4 hours. My braids were very neat and the quality of

her work is great. She gets bonus points for not braiding overly tight. I can't wait to see her again for my next style.

I went here with my daughter, the service was great! We both got medium bohemian braids (mid back length) when I tell you she braids fast! I was in her chair at 8 and done by 11, the braids are neat and clean, She provides the hair. And prices are affordable. She was very polite and listened to what I wanted. Deposit is required to secure your appointment that goes towards price of service, you will not be disappointed. I found my new place for braids!!! We both love our braids they are lite and don’t feel weighed down.
