Around 10:45am, I called to make an appointment for a haircut. To my surprise, she was able to see me the same day at 11:30am. On the phone, she asked how long my hair was. I let her know my hair was a few inches below my shoulder. This was a good question on the phone because I know a woman's cut can take longer than a men's cut. But she accommodated me still, which I'm grateful for!
When I was there, she listen to what I wanted. I said I wanted a trim, long layers, and face framing. After cutting my hair myself during the pandemic, I was mainly wanting her to fix the uneven and choppy ends.
Since I have thick hair, she spent a lot of time making it even, giving me layers, and face framing.
We also had good conversations about our family.

My new haircut place. Excellent. Small parking lot, but I'm within walking distance. They know how to cut asian hair too. Thinned my hair, with special scissors. Very efficient, knew that they knew what they were doing on the first cut. Owner and employee are very nice. Excellent place. I gave them $10 tip, told them their prices are too low!
Wonderful lady who cut my hair. She loves to see me everytime I come in and remembers me which is very nice. I show her a picture and she does a good job replicating it. I would recommend to go here if you are looking for a new salon. I love the service here so much.
Yen is amazing - patient, gentle and gives great haircuts! She can cut and style ANY hair, wet or dry; just be clear about what you're looking for. Cannot beat the price. My hair has gotten longer, is healthier, and looks so much better. A++++++++++++++
Checked in many salons of portland, but this is the best m very happy to get my hair cut here. It's not just a haircut, its a hair therapy .
I have long straight hair and have always sought out the basic 20$ haircut to trim dead ends, add some long layers, angle the front. Thuy was able to accomplish all this. She did a dry cut, no wash, no blow out all for $25. Very happy with the result and I’ll be back. This place is for the gal who does not need all the fancy salon dye/blow out without the associated cost.
This place is the best. Affordable, quick, friendly, and most importantly the best haircut I've found in Portland. Highly recommended!
Yen did an AMAZING job on my hair!! I'm in love with my new cut! I had Horrible split ends that were fried from dying my hair so many times, and Yen cut them all off making my hair look super fresh and healthy again!!! Thank you so much! ????
