Nice bay views during very short rest stop (but no restrooms of any kind)

There is a huge pack of rats here. They are very active as the sun goes down and they feast from the garbage cans that provide their nightly banquets.
It's a nice area.
A small launch ramp. A few benches. No bathroom or playground equipment.
Aside from your own car there is no shelter from sun or rain.
There can be quite a few bees around.
High school kids sometimes park and party over there at night.
It's hard to fish there because the fence is too high.

Peaceful place right on the water. Good place to get away for a bit to sort out one's thoughts - nice and quiet ????.(except on occasion when the seagulls decide to have their union meeting)
A quaint, little place to sit. There is ample parking and seating to enjoy the view. There are a couple of posters mentioning fun facts about Woodmere and the flora and fauna of the region. People come here to relax; if you want adventure (or entertainment other than just looking at the water) don't come.
Use to go here alot when I was in Valley Stream. It was not as popular as it is now. Good place to park and enjoy the ocean breeze. Also a good spot for lunch or evening sunset watch.
They've add a fence which now allows only one car to enter or exit at a time.
Not sure if this is due to the pandemic or if it was installed prior.
Still a nice spot to relax and gather your thoughts or enjoy with the one your with.
Not sure why it’s called this because there are no docks associated with this site.
The closest dock is a private club. The view is great, especially if you like watching planes land or looking at the private gold course nearby. There is a small boat ramp and some benches. The garbage cans always look like a mess, but I can understand this Town of Hempstead property is off the beaten path. This would easily be a three star review if it were better maintained, four star if there was something else to do and see, five star if the surrounding neighborhood really embraced this place.
Great view from the docks, the water never goes past the top during a high tide. You can take in the water relax on a bench or take your boat out from there. There is a good course and a yacht club next door to it so it is very quiet and private location
Some days the views of the sunrise are what dreams are made off. This year we went to check out the fireworks but were disappointed. You could see some fireworks in the distance that looked like like fire sparks. It is a good place to go early in the morning and breathe the fresh air.
