I have been going here for many years. The nail work and artistry is good. They are a busy salon with manicures, pedicures, and a variety of products for your acrylic, gel, etc.. needs. My manicurist us always willing to do designs I want and art on my nails. Very affordable with quality is always a plus. The best thing is that they never rush you on time, no matter when your appointment is. And have flexibility in their availability in the evenings as well.
The WORST experience I have ever had. To begin with, I got a tech that I was confused if it was a male or female. The techs nails looks like they work in construction and not in a nail salon. The tech was extremely aggressive at taking off my acrylic nails, it was the worst pain, and even took off my natural nail and could see the skin underneath. I was referred to this place from a co-worker. But will never come here again. I was still charged at the lousy and painful job of taking my acrylics off. DO NOT COME HERE, they will ruin your nail beds.
I love Van’s Nails. Impeccable customer service with CDC restrictions and recommendations followed closely. As a customer this practice coupled with great work makes me feel comfortable coming here, even during a pandemic. They are doing a wonderful job!
I regret going to this nail place, first time and will never go back!!! I was so upset! Went to get my nails done for a Quinceallera in Port Hueneme the day before the party 10/21/2016..The following morning, the day of the event my gel nail was bubbling and started peeling!! I called them right away and they told me "that usually happens with gel paint, but don't worry come in and I'll fix it"
