Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Worth a try for indian food lovers. The pricing is on the reasonable side. The sitting area is small. Also do not expect too much from dine in experience. The food more than makes up for the lack of other shortcomings. In all its one the most reasonable india restaurants in the area. The non-vegetarians would surely love it.
Must try starters awesome taste. So far tasted best restaurant in uk for starters. But not satisfied with seafood biriyani & Friedrice.
Terrible! I asked for curd rice and they gauge me rice and vegetables without any curd! And when I called the restaurant, the chef lied that he put curd.. As you can see from the pictures.. there is no curd and I didn’t get any refund
Food not bad. But the place could do with updating the chairs have seen better days, the wall paper is falling off. Made me wonder what condition the kitchen is in. I bought a prawn dish with veg as takeaway
When i got home my husband found a forign body in the dish, looked like a piece of wood maybe off the surface or the chopping board. Hopefully not off the wooden floor, put us off completely, so will not be going there again.
Zero for Ambience!
Average main dishes.
Fish fry - old fishes which no one prefers
(Had an uncomfortable night after having food from here).
I would not recommend this place.
Have I been to this restaurant ordered food in front of the door, It says card accepted and over the payment counter it says cash, only which is hidden inside. I requested to get it checked because of the conflicting information being displayed. The manager started swearing at me. I don't care. When I insisted him to take on card he's card machine started working, needs to be escalated to trading standards just to avoid minimal transaction cost and avoid tax to what extent they can fall. The only reason I am writing is because there is a constant trend in this restaurant. Better stay away from tax scammers
Sumptous Kerala food. Malabar Paratha and beef roast was the best I had! Good chilled beer too.
Food was average and expensive. Friendly staff. Ripped furniture makes it dull.

Quick Facts About The Madras Restaurant

The Madras Restaurant place has a number of strengths and weaknesses based on the comments given. On the positive side, it is worth a try for Indian food lovers and the pricing is considered reasonable. The starters are highly recommended and have an awesome taste, making it one of the best restaurants in the UK for starters. The non-vegetarian options are particularly enjoyed by customers.
However, there are also several weaknesses identified by customers. The sitting area is described as small, and the dine-in experience is not expected to be exceptional. This suggests that the restaurant may not prioritize creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for customers. One customer specifically mentions the lack of ambience as a major drawback.
There are also complaints about the quality of some dishes. One customer mentions being unsatisfied with the seafood biryani and fried rice, suggesting that these particular dishes may not meet expectations. Another customer complains about the fish fry, stating that the fish served is old and not preferable. This negative feedback about the food indicates inconsistent quality and may discourage potential customers.
Another weakness highlighted is the condition of the restaurant's furniture and wallpaper. The chairs are said to have seen better days, and the wallpaper is falling off. This raises concerns about the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the establishment. One customer who ordered takeaway found a foreign body, possibly a piece of wood, in their prawn dish. This not only raises questions about the hygiene standards in the kitchen but also highlights a potential health and safety risk. These issues with cleanliness and food quality can greatly affect customers' trust and their decision to return to the restaurant.
In addition to these physical issues, there are also complaints about the service. One customer recounts their unpleasant experience of ordering curd rice and receiving rice and vegetables without any curd. When they called the restaurant to complain, the chef lied about including curd. This kind of dishonesty can greatly harm the reputation of the restaurant and leave customers feeling betrayed. Another customer mentions a negative encounter with the manager, who allegedly swore at them when they questioned the conflicting information about payment options. This kind of unprofessional behavior can create an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere for customers, further reinforcing the negative perception of the restaurant.
Overall, while The Madras Restaurant place has strengths such as reasonable pricing, delicious starters, and positive feedback on certain dishes, it also suffers from weaknesses in terms of seating area, lack of ambience, inconsistent food quality, physical condition of the establishment, and poor customer service. These weaknesses can greatly impact the overall dining experience and may discourage potential customers from visiting or returning to the restaurant. Improvement in these areas is necessary for the restaurant to thrive and maintain a positive reputation.
