I lived on the Avenue 20 years ago, and saw a Meatloaf tribute act here. He was really good, and the beer was good too. Has a lounge and bar area. Didn’t ever try the quiz.

No longer a nice pub, the new owners can't do nothing to sort the pub out. They wonder why there isn't many customer's. Well make the place look better and then maybe you'll get more custom. That's the only way to get the custom in

Used to be my local years ago. Just started going back again. Surprised it's lasted so long. Roomy. Bigger selection of drinks than they used to have, and they do some really good food now if you catch them when the chef's in. It's like the black sheep of the AG pubs, could be an acquired taste, idk, but I really like it. Had some good times there.

Karoake and disco on in lounge but no football in the bar which was closed on a main Friday night. Not used the pub for some time but frankly not impressed. The beer was of decent quality but there's much more to a pub then the drink. I won't be rushing back

No control over no one .gone right down hill .dont go often now

Fantastic staff and good prices . Love the music nights and the Sunday dinners
