Such a lovely experience. Gorgeous decor and ambience. Wonderful service. Exquisite fish, chips and mushy peas. Couldn’t fit one of their tempting sponge puddings with custard, cream or ice cream in, so I’ll be making sure I’m even hungrier when I go again this week ????
Came across this place when I was parking up to go to the shops. Lots of parking, polite staff, prices are normal too. I didn't get to see the restaurant as it was nice enough to sit outside, it's by the canal/river too. Fish and chips were tasty too. Its worth visiting, if in the area...
Battered haddock, chip's and mushy peas for me and steamed haddock for the better half, loved it, and was delicious, good old cafe/restaurant, pleasant staff.
Car Park needs sorting and got lost on trying to get back to our hotel/Inn but that ain't there fault, totally recommend.
Been here many times. Love the staff, and the food is excellent. Far too cold to sit in the restaurant on a very cold january day. Please sort the heating out.
Good 3 course seniors deal for under a tenner but the starters weren't appealing to me. I'd prefer something like a small bit of homemade pate and some baguette or bits of toast. Fish and chips fabulous and pud like you'd get at school
Lovely fish cooked just right , the young man who served me was very friendly polite and just a nice manner in general.
Decent fish and chip place they have a takeaway counter and also a restaurant all food is made to order so there is sometimes a wait.
Good selection of things other than fish and chips including pasties, pies and even ice cream.
2 Fridays now we have had Fish & Chips, can't fault the quality and taste. Plenty of chips and a large fish is just enough. Friendly helpful staff and loads of parking.
