My favourite Chinese takeaway, have used them on & off for over a decade & they never disappoint.
Every weekend (that I can afford to) I like to get myself & grandmother a treat from here.
Recently they have updated their menu to have a vegan option, how many takeaways have this?
Superb 6/6 would highly recommend.
Very bad food from here this evening munchie box was thrown together wouldn’t recommend worst Iv ever had - ribs looked like they were cooked yesterday - friend rice so salty it wasn’t edible - chicken chow mein was tasteless and the chicken was slimey very disappointing £30 and majority going in the bin I rang to give feedback I was told all they could do was say sorry tried to defend my feedback so pretty bad service aswell won’t be coming back shame as it is very local to us!
Food is always really good and fast service pleasant staff as well
Been using this Chinese since I was a young girl, absolutely love the king prawn chow mein and the curry sauce is lush, totally recommend 5*
Delighted this takeaway has reopened. It is quite frankly the best of its genre within ten miles.
The kitchen and counter staff are also really lovely people who care about the food they serve.
This is the best Chinese food I have ever had, always perfectly cooked, order always exact, cooking time quick, we travel to get food from out of the area and it is still steaming hot after a 10-15 minute drive home. Friendly service also. (Reccomend the beef curry with fried rice).
Excellent takeaway, at very reasonable prices. I think it’s the best in area!
So very disappointed and considering we couldn't wait for the re- opening. We have purchased meals from yourselves lot's n lot's over the years and always enjoyed your food .We didn't receive the correct order ie I ordered king prawn foo yung with chip's and special fried rice curry n gravy n crackers. We got chicken chow mien and special fried rice etc ....
The chicken in the chow mien was so thicky sliced and didn't particularly taste of chicken. The char sui pork and chicken in special fried rice was also thicky cut and was tasteless. Also the poor egg on top was cooked to a frazzle.
To add unsult to injury my husband and I were poorly with upset tums all night and best part of next day ..We are not complaints or chancers by the way and do not want anything from you lol especially a takeaway ..But I have frozen our takeaway meal and intend to send to appropriate authority's. Very sad customer.

Strengths:
1. Consistency: A long-term customer expresses their satisfaction with the takeaway, having used it on and off for over a decade without disappointment. This suggests that the quality and taste of the food have been consistently good over the years.
2. Vegan options: The recent addition of a vegan option to the menu is seen as a positive attribute. This shows that the restaurant is adapting to customer preferences and catering to a wider range of dietary needs.
3. Fast service: A customer commends the takeaway for its fast service, indicating that they are efficient in delivering orders and minimizing wait times.
4. Friendly staff: The kitchen and counter staff are praised for their pleasant demeanor and care for the food they serve. This creates a positive customer experience and adds to the overall appeal of the restaurant.
5. Excellent food quality: Several customers highlight the quality of the food as their positive experience. Comments about perfectly cooked meals, precise orders, and steaming hot food even after a drive home suggest that the Four Seasons Chop Suey House takes pride in maintaining high food standards.
Weaknesses:
1. Inconsistent food quality: One customer had a very bad experience with their meal, stating that the munchie box seemed hastily thrown together, with ribs that seemed stale, excessively salty fried rice, and tasteless and slimy chicken chow mein. This highlights a major inconsistency in the food quality and indicates a lack of attention to detail in the preparation.
2. Poor customer service: The same customer who had an unsatisfactory meal also mentions the disappointing service they received when providing feedback. Being told only to say sorry and attempting to defend their feedback suggests a lack of accountability and effort to address customer concerns.
3. Incorrect order and food quality issues: Another dissatisfied customer received the wrong order and found several issues with the food, such as thickly sliced and tasteless meats and overcooked eggs. This raises concerns about consistency in preparing orders correctly and maintaining taste standards.
4. Health concerns: The same customer mentioned that both they and their husband experienced upset stomachs after eating the takeaway. This raises food safety concerns and suggests potential issues with hygiene and food preparation.
In conclusion, the strengths of The Four Seasons Chop Suey House lie in its long-time consistency, addition of vegan options, fast service, friendly staff, and commendable food quality based on multiple positive reviews. However, some weaknesses arise from inconsistent food quality, poor customer service, incorrect orders, and potential health concerns. It is essential for the restaurant to address these weaknesses in order to maintain its positive reputation and ensure customer satisfaction.
