Best PlaceJuice Reviews
Looking for a quiet pint and something to eat. Got both. Surprised that this place was empty when other pubs on the high street seems to be busy. Maybe the Welsh, who are known to be very insular, give it a miss as it’s run by ‘foreigners’. Anyway the food was superb and great value.

Weaknesses:
1. Empty compared to other pubs in the area: One comment notes that The Fat Cat Cafe Bar was empty while other pubs on the high street seemed to be busy. This suggests that the establishment may struggle with attracting customers compared to its competitors, potentially impacting its revenue.
2. Lack of liveliness during certain times: A customer mentions that at 10 pm on a Friday, the place was completely dead and that they found the lack of liveliness off-putting. This weakness indicates that The Fat Cat Cafe Bar may need to work on creating a more vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere during certain times, particularly on weekends.
3. Drinks not tasting right or being of lower quality: A customer complains that their vodka and cordial drinks did not taste right and suggests that the establishment may need to consider using a stronger brand. This indicates that there might be issues with the quality or preparation of some drinks, which could negatively impact the overall customer experience.
4. Limited ale selection: One comment mentions that The Fat Cat Cafe Bar has a limited selection of ales. This weakness implies that the establishment may not cater as well to customers who prefer ales over lagers, potentially leading them to choose other pubs with a wider ale variety.
5. Inconsistency in menu pricing: A critical comment mentions being charged more than the price listed on the drinks menu. This suggests a weakness in the establishment's pricing system or staff training, as customers should be able to trust the accuracy and consistency of the menu prices.
6. Closed Sundays and three other days: It is mentioned that The Fat Cat Cafe Bar closes for three days a week, and it is suggested that it should open on Sundays. This weakness indicates that the establishment may be missing out on potential business and customer satisfaction by not being open on Sundays, a popular day for dining and drinking out.
In conclusion, The Fat Cat Cafe Bar boasts strengths such as superb and great value food, a cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and a good selection of cocktails. However, it also faces weaknesses including emptiness compared to other pubs, a lack of liveliness during certain times, issues with the quality of drinks, a limited ale selection, inconsistency in menu pricing, and closed days of operation.
