Preis Leistung top. Freundliche Bedienung gutes Essen
Sehr gutes Essen
After half a day in Land's End and its less than inspiring food outlets, we wanted to take an interlude before the fireworks display at 10pm.
We are seasoned Thai food lovers, but this is our first time in Penzance, and first time at Sukothai. They were packed crazy at 6pm and there was a 40min wait. Decided to take a chance as we had ample time.
Fortunately, when it came to their food, we found it authentically mouthwatering, one of the best we have tasted.
All dishes ordered -- pad thai, red curry, massaman curry, were good but the stand out one has to be the seafood prawn and squid curry.
Well worth the wait, prices are decent, and their flavours exceeded our expectations.
I was in the mood for Thai and wanted to try out a new restaurant, which brought me here. The welcoming was a bit rude (may be due to the cultural differences), and we had to wait for almost 10 minutes for someone to come and share a menu, serve water.
We thought we had chosen a wrong place for dinner but we were fortunately proved wrong once the food arrived. The massaman and Thai green curry both tasted really good. The chicken was a bit rubbery after it became a bit cold.
I was surprised even the prawn crackers weren’t free, which is usually given free of cost in any Thai restaurant. Anyway… the food compensated for everything else.
I Wish the team introduce a good ventilation or air conditioning for summer. Overall, I’d rate 3.5 of 5.
Booked a table for 4. Good food, nice decor restaurant. It is bring your own alcohol which is ok as I took my own wine from the local Tesco express. The restaurant appeared to be clean and fairly priced. The table service was a bit poor as the young boy serving brought each item out one at time and felt like forever for everyone to get their meal. He also forgot to bring out the rice for all the curries. I get the impression he’s new and still learning the job. Other than the table service it’s worth a visit.
We are in penzance for a weeks break and booked to come here before we left our own town.
Amazing food that tastes fantastic! The service is Brilliant & atmosphere is really nice.
I would recommend Sukothai over anywhere else to eat in penzance, I would recommend booking as it get bust because the food is so good.
Okay Thai not great great. The curry’ were superb, really tasteful. The chicken satay average as were the fried egg rice, the mee tasted to much to oil. Note that they don’t serve alcohol but you can bring your own from the co-op supermarket 100m from the restaurant for just 1£.
看了推荐说嫩牛肉盖饭好吃但是在菜单上没找到是哪一个,于是点了这个牛肉盖浇饭,非常辣但是很好吃 pad thai也很不错
