Simone did an AMAZING job on my nails. This is the best set i have ever had, I wish i would have found him a long time ago! He takes his time and cares about what your nails look like. His prices are great too!
Don’t go expect to get treated with top-notch hospitality nor expect premium amenities. Especially don’t expect to be able to use their bathroom, don’t even ask unless you enjoy a blunt NO for a reply. Only one worker seemed genuinely nice and courteous. I’ll never use this place. For the money, (more expensive than Boston) you won’t get treated like they appreciate your business.
Was here once before, waited 40 minutes with no appointment. That was understandable. The tech was nice, and did a decent job aside from one of the nails being significantly smaller than the other. I didn't complain and appreciated him working on my nails. Had an appointment today (1/10/19) at 5:00p.m. came in 12 minutes early, let them know my name, what I needed done and that I had an appointment for 5. Waited 30 minutes before one of the Techs said she would be right with me. Another 20 minutes had passed and she was still with a customer but said to pick my color. Decided on a bule... 10 more minutes pass and I was still not being waited on. So I left. Called Dojo Nails and explained my situation. They said they could take me at 6:45 and did an excellent job.
This was such a poor experience, that I actually HAD to leave a poor review for the first time ever. I got a gel manicure a week ago, and the nail tech cut me while cleaning up my cuticles. It was bleeding pretty badly. It happens, I wasn't upset, but they could not get the bleeding to stop, but continued trying to paint this nail. It seemed so unsanitary and I was completely uncomfortable as they poured multiple different liquids/chemicals on my finger trying to get it to stop. I told them I wasn't comfortable, could I just please have a bandaid and I could come back later for that finger. They said ok but proceeded to paint a few color coats, with curing the nail in between (each time it came out from under the lamp there was a pool of blood that they would soak up with a paper towel). AFTER they painted 3 coats over blood, they gave me a bandaid and finished the rest of my fingers. I was told to come back for the top clear coat, no idea why I couldn't get all coats done later (like I asked for) so I wouldn't have trapped blood on my fingernail. I paid, full price with a small tip, left, came back later and got the bleeding finger a top coat. I wasn't even going to leave a review, because obviously they didn't mean to cut me. But I only made it a few days before 3 of the gels were starting to peel off, and now it is 7 days later and multiple nails are peeled off completely, so it was a total waste of money. Again, I know everyone is human, but I do not recommend. It was all around sloppy.
