I saw the Soft Loft Spa on Instagram and I was excited to visit them as they were advertised as a black owned woman owned business. I visited this business mid August 2022. I sent a text message to the number listed as requested to make an appointment. 30 minutes later a representative told me to just walk in. I sent them another text message to inquire if they accepted cards. No reply. Upon walking into the salon, you immediately notice the décor which was beautiful. There were only 3 people doing customers nails. The owner informed us it would be an hour wait. I walked around the neighborhood to waste some time. By the time we arrived back to the salon, the owner was done with her customer and was available but we ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes. By the time another nail tech was available she went to the store and when she arrived back, she said she would be right with us. Another customer ended up coming into the shop for lashes and she ended up taking care of her. By then we were ready to leave and of course they were ready for us. Well one of us, we got our pedicures done one at a time. The nail tech was really friendly. What I didn’t like was dawn dish liquid soap being put into the water. When we asked why dawn was being used the nail tech didn’t know and stated the owner provides it. I didn’t like there was no section to sit and dry your nails either, the nail tech literally had to hold the fan over our feet to dry them. I know this must have been very tiring for her. The bathroom above the toilet was like an open shaft covered with cardboard boxes. Thought that was weird and concerning. I understand every business is short staffed right now, that was my reason for wanting to make an appointment. The positive thing is the salon accepts cash and card. I can’t think of anything else to say about this place. I almost feel like what’s portrayed on social media is a fraud or maybe I caught them on a bad day but I will not return. I was very disappointed with the service at this place and I can honestly say I will not be returning.
The chief was just fabulous! She was very professional/friendly and she did a fantastic job doing my full-leg laser hair removal. This salon is clean, stylish, and has excellent equipment. The chief did a fantastic job explaining the entire procedure to me as well as what to expect next. My legs look great and there's absolutely no pain. I'll be returning for another laser session next month with The chief.
I've been a client since July 2018 and my skin has never looked better. I receive compliments from clients and colleagues alike on my skin and I owe it all to the manager. She's patient and always gentle with extractions and microdermabrasion and she gives me good advice on how to keep my skin at its optimal health. I recommend her to everyone, she's truly an exceptional talent.
Always happy to see faces when I come in. She is so personable and so helpful - really knowledgeable about all the services and pricing. By far the best person I’ve worked with at the desk over the years. She is not only the sweetest and makes you feel comfortable, she always knows where you need the most help without you telling her! Love these ladies!
Very cool Jessica This is the second time I visit this place. This time I brought my sister and daughter! The service continues to be great! I have also recommended them to several other people. It was a little busier this sunday but the service was still great! I will continue to get my nails done here.
Everything was perfect! I used one of the deals for the holidays and came in on Christmas Eve morning. From the first phone call to checking in to when I left the woman a the front desk was so kind and helpful. The crew gave me one of the best massages I've ever had. I immediately purchased a three-pack.
Softloft Spa is hands down the best!! I've been getting Brazilians with Simone for almost 2 years and I have nothing but good things to say about her and the experience. Simone is so amazing and so gentle. I naturally always freak out in my head but when the process is over I forget about all that. So glad I was recommended to see Simone. I'm never turning back.
When I did my first-ever facial at Softloft Spa, the employees were so nice and Evelynn did an amazing job taking me step-by-step during my facial since it was my first time. The facial was so relaxing and calm, I completely recommend this place. It is also a Medi-Spa which I think is pretty important information. Scheduling my appointments is also such a breeze! You cannot go wrong when you go to the Softloft Spa.
