Jessie the owner is so sweet along with all of the technicians. They are so kind, gentle and welcoming every time I visit which is about every 5 weeks.
I highly recommend checking them out. You will not be disappointed with their talent and their prices.
I went on the recommendation of my mother and pictures I’ve seen from their Instagram account. Contacted them at first for an appointment but was told walk-ins are welcomed. They ONLY accept cash so ensure to bring cash. I was serviced by Ming for a hard gel refill. She removed my old set before applying the new one. Her nail care service (cleaning and cutting cuticles) was better than some of the images I’ve seen. Personally I was not happy how she applied the gel as there are some areas that the gel color is light/missing. Or it does not look like a natural set as the gel is 1cm from my cuticle. She applied the gelish foundation then placed my hand under the UV/led light. Next were 2 separate coats of the gel color—this is where sections were missing or light then followed by the hard gel. Once this cured/dried she placed the remover liquid to ensure the stickiness was off my nail then placed a hot towel followed by lotion. I forgot to mention she ask how long/short I preferred my nail and once she removed my old set she had me wash my hands at the sink. Also I would suggest you make an appointment depending on the time you show up. Within 15-min of sitting/waiting there was an influx of people that showed up which pushed all service wait time to 40-minutes!
I paid for a gel manicure and pedicure. Whilst I was in the shop, I told them I wasn’t happy with the result. It was bubbled and looked like it needed an additional coat on some nails. The nail technician also had me in pain from filing with the drill on skin, not nails on 2 occasions. When I complained, I wasn’t offered a discount and was told they would just do another coat if I was unhappy, which they did. In less than 12 hours my gel manicure has properly chipped!!! Even a regular manicure wouldn’t have chipped this fast but gel should last at least a week, usually 2. I’m never returning here! They are by far the worst I’ve had.
There is nothing and I mean NOTHING bad for me to say about this place. I started going here back in 2006, stayed going for 10 years, moved away, stopped going and recently moved back to the neighborhood and picked back up again. The quality of service is outstanding. Jessie (the owner) is gracious, does quality work and the atmosphere and cleanliness of the location is top notch.
In the current pandemic they took on sterilizing each set of tools such that every customer is getting a new packet opened for them. Other salons are still using shady sterilization techniques (just saying).
When it comes to design and technique the latest trends are also incorporated.
Even as I write this I know this is going to impact me because more people will now go here. And it's already crowded every time I go!! But I cannot say enough good things about this place!!
Hate to leave a bad review but I must warn someone from coming here if they are interested in doing a Art design. I came in and showed them a design and asked them it they were able to do it. They replied yes but sad to say they are amateurs when it comes to a designed nail. Bubbles started and messed up on multiple nails where it had air bubbles which she thought was okay. She the was replaced by another nail tech Jesse. Both tried their best to master a design they were not ready for. I was charged $110 for this botched job, I showed my sister when I got home and she said it looked like I did my nails myself☹️. My nails look horrible up close and this is what Im going on vacation with. They should of told me they can’t do it but can do a plain nail.
This place can do a basic plain nail color but Art designs nails is a Hard no. So please go elsewhere if you want something more artsy to a nail.
They staff was fast and kind. They had many options to choose from. I wanted gel extensions because I cannot maintain my natural nails. I wanted simple French. The nails came out chunky and misshaped. The French line was crooked on some nails and perfect on others. The total was $90 for this service. I am unsure if I’ll be getting this service by them again. I still tipped but I am very disappointed with my nails.
best manicure I've received. excellent service with KIND, PROFESSIONAL, AND SMART workers. I went in to get a nail set removed from another nail salon that put on a gel clay paste + acyrlic nails and it ruined my nail that are cracking downwards.

Every time the technicians and artists here nail it!!! Also love that you just gotta drop in and wait your turn. No reservations. When they get to you it’s worth every min. Prices are super reasonable too! Best nail spot in BK
