Platinum Plus Unisex is the PERFECT name for this place. So I walked in , “greeted by the owner “ 1st level 4 barbers , level 2 1 barber and level 3 , than the Queen , co - owner who greeted me with her Loving , I gotcha cha , white teeth smile with a “Hey Beautiful “ . I was like YESS . So this was my 4th visit . I watched “

Monique “ , created all kinds of styles “ buns , weaves , silk press, color , quick weaves , she actually uses rice water , and great hair products . And guess what else she sells food you guys . I am really impressed with the diversity of clients , the two teenagers she has , DIVA’s in training , AND They are a Husband and Wife TEAM. Oh ladies she is reasonable , and she takes care of your hair .

Normally I take my son to a barber we go to often but they were closed and we had a short amount of time on a Sunday to accomplish our goal. This shop was open, close to where we were at the time and not crowded at all. I waited outside for my son to finish for about 30 minutes and this is what he walked out with. My son was happy with his water waves, and I was surprised, made me do a double take.

Was looking for a good shop since moving from DC nearly 2 years ago. Stumbled across Platinum one day and have been blown away by the great services of Tony. Hands down the best in Baltimore! Far exceeded my expectations from when I walked in. Now, I come through faithfully every 2 weeks for the best haircut in this area. Professional, great conversations and great, clean cuts. You won't go wrong if you go to Tony at Platinum.

Today was my first visit with my 2 year old and 5 year old sons. My 2 year old was very apprehensive but Darren took his time to gain his trust and make him feel comfortable. He cut his hair in the waiting area chair while eating chips because he was scared to sit in barber chair lol. My 5 year old was a first timer and loved his hair cut. Darren took his time and gave him the design he wanted. I really appreciate it. I will be a regular going forward.

I ended up at the shop visiting a friend in 2018. I came back to get my hair done and have been a faithful client since then. Great food and conversation! Mo doesn't just keep my hair right, she has become my family away from home..

They cut hair, for real! Whenever you go to a shop, and it’s packed, you know they have to be doing something right! The first time I took my son, I asked if they were looking for investors! I really did! Good vibes! I wish them continued success!

Moved to Baltimore for work from the Philly area and needed a barber shop and decided to try platinum. Had Darren take care of me and he exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond to satisfy my needs. Haven’t had a cut this good in a Loooong time. Darren was were attentive, down to earth and very professional! Highly recommend!!

So on. Saturday June 12, 2021 I made an appointment for that following day (a Sunday). The barber told me that they wouldn't be opened until around four and I said that's fine. So he made the appointment for 4 o'clock. When I got there nobody was there. I stood outside in the rain for thirty minutes. I kept calling and calling nobody answered. Very UNPROFESSIONAL!! I understand s### happens however, a courtesy phone call saying so would've been nice especially when I gave my phone number when I made the appointment. It's cool though. NEVER AGAIN!!!????????????
