We tried this groomer for the first time this past week and we’re extremely dissatisfied. I gave clear instructions as to how to groom our golden when I called to make the appointment, just her paws and by her rear end & to leave the rest of her coat alone. Instead they did not trim near her rear end at all, and by her hips and side it looks as though she was shaved unevenly and that part should have never been touched. Our chocolate lab looks great, however have you guys ever groomed a golden in your life? For $115 we expect much better quality of workmanship. When I contacted the groomer about this, I did not hear back until the following day. I then had to leave another voicemail and got a call back this morning with excuses about the owner not being available. They had us send photos and then offered a $20 partial refund which isn’t even half of the total $55 it cost for our goldens groom. This is ridiculous and not how you treat customers. How can you ever expect people to come back when the entire experience for the pet as well as the owner is like this? Do not take your pets here to be groomed!

I asked the groomers to cut her on the short side since we are moving to a forestry area. I had her professionally bathed and groomed on September 8th. This is what they did to my Millie without calling me and then charged me $150 instead of the 85-95 anticipated. Millie is traumatized. See before and after pictures.

I called pampered tails because I was looking for a new groomer for my dog, as my groomer often books out weeks in advance, and saw the great reviews. The woman I spoke with (possibly the owner) was very detailed and asked about the breed, size and age of my dog. We thoroughly discussed that I was interested in a bath, blowout, nail trim and all over trim for my border collie. I was told with the specifications I was requesting, and the size/breed of my dog, the services would be $65-$70. I was pleased to make an appointment for the following day.

When I arrived at Pampered Tails, the doors were locked and we needed to wait for someone to come out to us. She asked the name of my dog which I told her, she seemed puzzled. After I stated I made the appointment the day before, she then stated "for a trim and bath, right?" I confirmed and she closed the door and said the groomer would be out.

The groomer came out and asked about what services I wanted. I again, told her the same services that I discussed over the phone, and again in person a few moments earlier with the receptionist. She too, looked confused, and clarified that I wanted a bath, blow out, nail trim, and all over trim. When I repeated again, she finally took my dog inside.

I was outside completing paperwork when the woman I spoke with earlier came out and said for what I wanted done, it would be more like $85-$90. I was immediately taken aback and stated that I spent nearly 10 minutes on the phone booking the appointment to discuss what I was requesting for my dog. She then said that she thought I wanted a bath, blow out, nail trim and trimming of the feet and that would be $65-$70.

I immediately requested my dog be brought back out. I have been going to Shampooch and Kitty since my dog was a puppy. She is is 7 years old now and I have never paid more than $40 for the services I requested at Pampered Tails. While I realize $40 is significantly under what most places charge, I was willing to pay the $65-$70. However somehow, the day of, 1 day after I made the appointment, all of a sudden it's $20 more than what was discussed over the phone? I am incredibly disappointed in this establishment and the way I was lied to. Save your money and go to Shampooch!

They are always so kind and friendly. I’ve been going here for years with 2 different dogs (one was handicapped and they still took care of her) and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! If I could I’d give them 20 stars!!

The people here are very caring & good at their job. They do very well with senior dogs and take their time with nervous ones which I have. My boys love the attention they get here! Lisa & her team are top notch!

We love taking our pup here! They do an amazing job and care so much about our dog. They take their time and make our dog feel comfortable and she always leaves looking fantastic. I would highly recommend Pampered Tails to anyone.

We recently found this place based on the good ratings we read about on this site. Glad we made the switch from another groomer. They keep perfect notes about the last visit and ask if instructions are to remain the same. They are very accommodating and our Molly if never stressed when we pick her up. We love the job they do on our Doodle!

Great staff and great experience for the dogs! This is the first place we’ve taken them to that they looked happy and relaxed coming out of! The groomers did an incredible job and really took the time to sit and talk with us about how the dogs were. After getting home and inspecting the grooming job, I’m very happy and will definitely be going back!
