I was new to the area and got my dog groomed by Emily. LOVED the service. Initially 5 stars. Trying to schedule again, no one calls back - I was followed up with by text and was told that I could get in for a grooming appointment same week and confirmed my interest just for her to become unresponsive. Highly upset because i did like the work that was being done. At this point, ive called, left messages, and texted and they have become unresponsive. Now I have to start the search for a new groomer all over again. Already being new to the area, this is very frustrating
Listen , dont even do it they groom the dogs really good , but your dog will be with them all day litterally our dogs was brought in at 10 am didnt even get home till next day that is CRAZY STOP OVERBOOKING PEOPLE ANIMALS.
The staff are so nice and very patient. I always get my puppy shots here and they have a good variety of dog food.
This location has been around for many years and has all your animal needs but for some reason they have mixed hours. They were closed in the middle of they day o. A Saturday afternoon. That was discouraging but above all I would go back because again they have everything you need for your Pup????
The phone number is not in service. Was just trying to get my dogs hair cut.
Small business, GREAT EXPERIENCE.. HAS EVERYTHING
Theresa is a great groomer! She was my last pup’s groomer and now my new pups groomer. This place was wonderful when it was “landmark” now that it’s “northland” the service sucks! They never answer the phone, the hours are inaccurate it’s dirty and the staff is unprofessional. Only professionals in there is the groomers. I’ve only been able to get in touch with Teresa once in almost two years for an appointment. When I finally got an appointment but dog was dropped off at 8a and wasn’t ready for pickup until after 8p! There was a young guy there hitting on me and he was smoking weed on the property right near the front door of the business. The owner had left for hours and when she returned she had a nasty attitude. I hope someone else takes over! I’ve been going to this place for any years and would love to keep Teresa as my dog’s groomer!
Customer service was horrible. I just witnessed the workers treating a customer like nothing because he asked one of the employees a question about was someone coming to help. The line was long. The lady was super rude! Then the “owner” came out threatened to call the police (of course) when he did nothing wrong. I will no longer give my hard earned money to them as of this. They’ve truly shown their colors today. I am done supporting them......

Quick Facts About Northland Animal Center

Northland Animal Center, formerly known as Landmark, is a pet grooming and supplies business that has been around for many years. While there are some positive aspects mentioned in the comments, such as the excellent grooming service and the friendly and patient staff, there are also several weaknesses that need to be addressed.
One of the strengths of Northland Animal Center is their grooming service. Multiple comments mention the quality of the grooming, with customers expressing their satisfaction with the results. Emily, one of the groomers, is specifically mentioned as providing great service. This indicates that Northland Animal Center has skilled and competent groomers who are capable of delivering a positive grooming experience.
Another strength mentioned by a customer is the variety of dog food available at Northland Animal Center. This indicates that the business has a wide selection of pet products and supplies, providing convenience for customers who can find everything they need in one place. Having a good variety of products is important for customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Additionally, a comment mentions that this location has been around for many years, which suggests that the business has established itself as a reliable and trusted option for pet owners in the area. This longevity can contribute to a positive reputation and customer loyalty.
However, there are several weaknesses that have been highlighted in the comments, which need to be addressed by Northland Animal Center in order to improve their services and customer satisfaction.
One common complaint mentioned by multiple customers is the lack of responsiveness from the staff. It seems that the business has a poor system for scheduling appointments and following up with customers. This can be frustrating for customers, especially for someone new to the area, as they need reliable and prompt communication to feel valued and secure in their choice of groomer. Northland Animal Center needs to address this weakness by implementing a better communication system and ensuring that all inquiries and appointment requests are promptly responded to.
Another weakness mentioned by multiple customers is the issue of overbooking. One customer complained that their dogs were with the groomer all day and didn't get home until the next day. This suggests that Northland Animal Center may not have appropriate scheduling practices in place, leading to long waiting times and delayed services. Overbooking can cause stress for both the animals and their owners, and it reflects poorly on the business's time management and organization. This is an area that Northland Animal Center should address in order to improve customer satisfaction and avoid negative experiences.
Furthermore, inconsistent hours of operation have been mentioned as a weakness by a customer. It seems that the business has mixed hours, including unexpected closures during the middle of the day. Inconsistent hours can be frustrating for customers who rely on the business for their pet supplies and services. Northland Animal Center needs to ensure that their hours of operation are clearly communicated and adhered to in order to maintain the trust and loyalty of their customers.
Another weakness highlighted in the comments is the unprofessional behavior of some staff members. One customer mentioned a young employee hitting on them and smoking weed near the front door of the business. Additionally, a customer witnessed the workers treating a customer rudely and the "owner" threatening to call the police on an innocent customer. These incidents suggest a lack of professionalism and appropriate behavior within the business. Northland Animal Center needs to address this by implementing clear guidelines for staff behavior and training to ensure a professional and respectful environment for both customers and employees.
Lastly, a comment mentioned that the phone number for Northland Animal Center was not in service. This glaring issue prevents potential customers from contacting the business and booking appointments. It is crucial for Northland Animal Center to ensure that their contact information, including phone numbers, are up to date and working to avoid losing potential business.
In conclusion, Northland Animal Center has some strengths, such as providing excellent grooming service and having a good variety of pet products. However, there are several weaknesses that need to be addressed, including poor responsiveness, overbooking issues, inconsistent hours of operation, unprofessional behavior from staff members, and faulty contact information. By addressing and resolving these weaknesses, Northland Animal Center can improve their reputation, customer satisfaction, and ultimately, their business success.
