I have been coming here on and off for years for a simple wash and cut/trim to maintain my natural hair. The last three trips were very disappointing. I will not return ever again. This place is not for natural hair. Nor do they listen. I was so upset when I got home and fully saw everything. She completely ignored my instructions to maintain my style, added layers and cut off way more. My friend said it was a completely different cut when she saw me. The hairdresser also gave me push back when I mentioned it looked as if she was cutting too much. The last thing someone wants is someone arguing with them over what hair cut they want. Very disappointed and too scared to return. I wish I could say different, but no.
Pleasant and professional. My daughter's hair lasted 3 1/2 weeks. Will definitely go back.
Found this salon via Google. Although I was a bit skeptical at first because of some of the reviews, I am glad I went there because I was very satisfied with the results. The staff were polite and professional.
I hate that you have to give a star they don’t deserve even that. I have natural hair, and if you can’t do natural hair deny the service. Don’t complain, and that’s all the one lady did. If you have natural hair DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT come here. I asked for a wash, $12 deep conditioner, blow dry and a trim. $62. I wasn’t too upset until I realized my hair is cut so uneven I had to fix it myself it’s choppy as if they’ve never cut hair. The lady washes my hair practically drowned me in the wash bowl so much she had to blow dry my shirt with the dryer. The place wasn’t that clean for a hair salon the more I looked around I felt uncomfortable. I would NOT recommend to ANYONE. My first and LAST time going.
This shop is really nasty! They didn’t know I speak Spanish and the one lady Francesca was talking about other customers to the lady Sandra. It was rude. Also they need to clean I asked for a different towel because the one they tried to put on me was really dirty. The floor looked like it’s never been swept, and the walls and chairs at the dryer were gross. I came in the morning after they opened and it didn’t rain the shop was dirty. I got my hair cut by Francesca it was bad I went to R&N in hillside to fix it. Would NOT recommend.

Very fast and efficient. My natural hair was bone straight for this past week. Which may not mean much to some but it's major for me because my hair reverts very easily. I left with my hair being very soft and vibrant. I'll definitely be back next month.
I found this business today on google and the reviews were good. I had went to Dominican salon in Linden earlier today and was greeted by a sign that Doobies were 55 and up. I have been going here for awhile and waited for an hour until I got fed up and left. Naomi’s salon took me right away and only charged me 40.My natural hair is now bone straight. I will definitely recommend this business to my friends
