I came in for a frost look on the tips of black paint. First person that was suppose to do my nails said they didn't have the color I wanted and I said that's okay what others do you have. She gave me a book and passed me to the owner because she no longer had interest doing my nails and said sorry. The work in the pics is from the owner. He also tried a few things and it did not work so I told him just paint it all black and forget about it. What I'm most upset about isn't even just that I didn't get what I came in for or bad serve, it's what was done to my nails. As you can see so many spots were missed on the sides of the nail and close to root leaving it exposed. There was no apology or make it rights just pay $53 dollars. Worst nails I ever got. Do not go.
Called ahead to make an appointment for a fill later in the day so I didn’t expect it to be rushed. The worst nail appointment I have been to! Not only was the shaping terrible with my almond shape pointing anywhere but forward but I was cut 3 times from aggressive filing. The gel polish was put on thick without a base coat - applied very sloppy and not just on the nail. The whole appointment was rushed taking less then 30minutes.
service was bad technician was rough and the nails came out very bad. Maybe it was a bad day but I do not recommend going there
I went to take off my acrylic nails but still can’t believe they let me go with this nails. At least they could’ve trimmed it.
Came for a fill & pedicure. In parking lot the car chair collapses on my thumb making it very sore. I said nothing about it, but Dana was gentle and i survived! The staff was funny & nice! Would reccomend or return if i lived here!
I’ve had really bad service at other salons an will never go back…Nail Trixx is the ONLY place i will spend my girl time or my $$ at…Tom, Dayna, & the wax lady they DO AWESOME jobs an they do it in a timely manner.
Made same day reservations for my husband and me for mani-pedis (gel mani for me). We were greeted warmly and immediately seated in their massage chairs while we had our pedicures. They have great attention to detail. My husband's mani-pedi was done nicely. My toe nail polish was put on *perfectly* - unlike so many other places where they slop it on and then use a brush with remover to "fix" it. I wanted a natural look for my gel mani and she nailed the color and the style I wanted (neutral for work). I also asked for her to not buff/file the tops of my nails because they're naturally thin. She was respectful of my request, where others typically just ignore and start sanding the tops anyhow.

I have lived on the big island for 16 years and tried so many different nail salon's around the island, well I finally found my favorite salon! Today was my second day going here and these few things made me come back; quick, frendly, creative!! If you go here I'm sure you will not be disappointed!
