I went yesterday. My nail polish is chipped already. Technician didn’t work on my heels or callouses much at all. I had to do it myself when I got home. I got lots of dead skin off with my cheap little pedi-egg! They didn’t file my toenails to shape them up - I could still see angled parts where I had cut them last week. I also had the upgrade pedicure that says the work on callouses. I have been there many times-but never again. The technicians weren’t particularly friendly either. ????
I had a gel full set and I asked to have them soak them off and apply sns instead and they were really great about making sure I was taken care of right away even though they were pretty busy and they were very informative, helpful and professional! I really enjoyed my visit at Nail Star. Plus they are right by my house so that was a plus too!! Hannah did an amazing job with my nails!
Cindy did my nails and she did a fantastic job! Just why I wanted. I got acrylic nails with the silver glitter gel on the ring finger. She was very nice and I will definitely be coming back!
My daughter wanted a full acrylic set (first time) and eyebrows waxed for Homecoming. The person up front was super helpful and was quick to find a nail tech to do my daughter’s nails. When we got in the car, $76 later, she said the nail tech did not say one word to her except to tell her to wash her hands. Once everything was finished, my daughter told her “Thank you”…no response. I wish I had gotten her name because that’s just rude. Parents are trying to teach their kids to be kind, courteous and respectful, and they get this kind of treatment from an adult?? We also noticed the acrylic was way too thick and had to take my nail drill out and go underneath so they weren’t so thick looking. We won’t be back.
Me and my friend went and I called ahead of time and asked how much gel acrylics were and I was told $40.We ended up paying $60.Our nails weren't the right color(we did show them a picture). The nails fell of in less than a week. Also my friends nail tech didn’t really know what she was doing so when my nail tech got done doing my nails he had to finish my friends. Along with that the receptionist at the front harassed me and my friend about getting our eyebrows done and I finally gave in because he wouldn’t leave us alone till we did . My eyebrows were uneven and he even cut me with the tweezers bc i had scabs by my eyebrows. When he did them he was drunk and I could smell it on his breath when he was in my face doing my eyebrows. Our nail techs were nice and that’s about all I can say that was good. If i could give this place 0 stars i would. (the picture with the blue and pink is what we got and the other one one is what we wanted.)
Best experience I have had In a long time. I usually go to the nail salon next to my house and it take them literally three hours every time just do a sns and pedicure. This time at this nail salon it took an hour and half which is good time. I love the cleanliness of the facility and the way they treat their customers. Mu mails pokm awesome and my feet was massaged so amazing. I will be going back and I recommend this place to anyone who is need of a relaxing spa day. They use lotionnon your ha ds and massage them after they do your mails. They use a great moisturizer on your legs and the way they get the dead skin off your feet is the best
I took my 5 year old for her first manicure. I got SNS and she got gel. They turned out perfect! She had a picture picked out of what she wanted and they were able to match it perfectly. We had the best time! Don was so much fun, interacting with her and a packed salon, he had us all laughing! John did her nails and was very gentle and was able to put tiny hearts in her nails perfectly. We will definitely be back!
