Nail Elgance is a very nice clean friendly salon. It is a family owned business. . Amber does a very nice job as does her husband . Best to make appointments as there are just 3 personal operators.
absolutely incredible, i have been everywhere in altoona and nobody does an ombré like these guys. turned out exactly like the picture and i have never loved my nails so much

Wi is the man. Does a great job. When possible he let's me call just hours in advance and tries to squeeze me in. And my nails are beautiful. He's still a smart a s. I love this place ❤️
This was the worst manicure I’ve ever had. I was in and out in less than an hour and that includes the 10 minutes that I waited and another 5 minutes for the lady to get ready !! The tech couldn’t understand one word I said and I couldn’t understand her so there was no way to communicate what I wanted. I have as many callouses now as I when I went in. The polish is so thick and uneven that it looks ridiculous . I’m going to take it off. That was the biggest waste of time and money ever. I should have known when they were the only ones who had open appointments today
My nails were absolutely stunning and the people are nice too I definitely recommend this place
Went there to get a color change, due to another salon screwing up a color I wanted, so I picked another color, and Amber did such a beautiful job on my nails. Nailed the design I showed her a picture of. Very nice people. Felt so welcomed, with the two good friends I came in with, who had recommended I go to check them out, and they were so nice. They even provided my girls, and I with bottled water for free while we waited. Very friendly atmosphere.
I have gone here every 2 weeks for several months and always made appointments in advance. After the fourth time waiting 20 minutes even though I had an appointment, I finally asked why I wasn't bring taken at my appointment time. I was told that they get busy. I said, "but that's why I made an appointment." She said that if someone comes in before me, they can't stop what they're doing and take me. I said that is precisely what you should do because I have an appointment. She said all the appointment does is make me the next person in line when they are free. Apparently their definition of appointment is warped. I would think especially in this time of the pandemic, that appointments would be appreciated. If that is how they view appointments, then they should not make appointments and just be strictly walk in so people know what they are getting into. So beware...if you make an appointment but someone else happens to walk 5 minutes before your appointment time, you are out of luck.
