I have given this 3 stars but that's only because i have just started going there. Even though it's kind of a local chip shop, to me and even though i went to school with the guy whose parents ran this chip shop, until recently, i had never stepped foot in there. When a work colleague said she had been there, my interest peaked and i thought, why not!
I was very surprised with the quality of the food, well cooked, great range and quite tasty. I mean, it's a chip shop right, you know exactly what you're going in there for and you know exactly what you're going to end up with, a good tasty meal and lastly, the prices are excellent, especially when the portions are bigger than other chip shops in the area.
Give it a try, i did, now it might be my number one local chip shop.
Ordered food that was visible on the counter. Went outside while order was being wrapped, the food I ordered was served to another customer while I was outside. Went in to collect my order for them to then to tell me they didn’t have what I ordered then point blank lied to my face that it wasn’t on the counter when I walked in. Not even so much as an apology and then looked surprised when I walked away ????
Decent food, had better. Ordered mixed kebab and chips. Bit shy on giving a good portion of salad

Been using this chippy for years when we go to visit mother-in-law. Never had a bad meal from there. Well with a visit.
Ordered via Uber forgot 2 items off the order checked with driver he had delivered everything they had gave him only to be ignored when calling back and then finally get cut off!! Thanks for the half order and my daughters chicken nuggets and chips are rotten!! Old chips and cold nuggets!!
Good food at very reasonable prices with costs so high will definitely be going back.
Rock hard chips warmed up from dinner times leftovers..waste of money.used to be a good chippy not now..won't be using this place again
